  1. I would like to attend but OH is a long trip for those that live N,W and E of Nashville. Has anyone used Stones River Range for a meet.
  2. If you not sure you should go rent some. I have a G19 I love and a bunch of SIG's I love also. Don't buy on a whim. If you are just looking for a range gun look at the surplus Sig P6/225. They are around 325.00 OTD and are excellent shooters.
  3. The consulate belongs to the people of Canada. After reading an article about just borrowing a gun or taking one for hunting in Canada it appears to be a pain in the ass.
  4. Sako Finnbear Manlicher carbine in 30.06
  5. Most publicly/government owned buildings in GA are off limits to include Church's and parks. That was the way it was when I had a GA HCP. You need to remember that most consulates and embassy's are the sovereign soil of that nation and are not subject to our laws. I have been here about 8 years. You must tell a LEO that you are carrying if confronted. http://www.georgiapacking.org/law.php
  6. Sig 220
  7. Try CDNN sports @ http://www.cdnninvestments.com/
  8. Stopped by today and scored a few accessories. There were a lot of people. It was one of the better ones that I have seen.
  9. He's a sitting US senator. If he was there he should have visited even without his posse.
  10. Where is On Target? Is there a place in central Nashville or a bit north of town?
  11. You need to put the chief LEO's name on it.

I have one. You are going to love it. I have been using Santa Barbra, Radway Green and South African Surplus. Also some reloads. make sure you break the barrel in. I have heard good things about the Lithuanian. It was also the rifle of the year by Ameican Rifleman for 2006.
  13. Mars. that was a great video.
  14. My wife uses a j-frame and loves my Colt Government MDL 380. Is looks a lot like the Iver Johnson Pony .380 in the guns for sale thread. But the Colts are around 600.00 to 800.00 if you can find one. +1 to the 230 series SIGS
  15. I guess they want to know who does or doesn't supports the NRA.
  16. The range is run by the Tn Army National Guard. In the summer it is pretty filled up for Summer AT.
  17. Joe and Family have fun. I myself am heading to St Simons in a few hours for my week of rest.
  18. I bought the A3 Flattop 16" in a Pre-ban set up complete for about 400.00 from Midway. All I did was pop it on a completed DPMS lower with a Pardus stock I got from Rabbi.
  19. I have two DPMS AR 's and the eat anything I have fed them. Magic I bought a lower and upper (flattop) A3 separately and have about 700.00 in it.
  20. The reason why is a military base in governed under military/federal law. It is not subject to any state law's. The Commanding General/ Admiral has the same power as the Governor of a state on his base/fort.
  21. Very nice bike. Have fun.
  22. I work for a auction. The market is spotty right now. Full sized trucks and large SV can be had for s song right now. Small cars are out of the book. New vehicles are the same everywhere. Every used vehicle is different. Most dealers in the south use Black Book or MMR to gage wholesale. But even this is not correct for the last two months. Depends on what you want and if you are trading. All big stores add a PAC to the car. This is the amount the dealer adds to the invoice price of the car that covers operation of the place. Looking at a computer will not show true invoice. The invoice is on paper from the manufacturer or purchase price from auction/wholesaler. For example a 08 Civic DX has only 700-1000 mark up. There is no discount. Toyota Priusis 2-4 thousand above MSRP. The Toyota at auction is bringing more than it sold new. A diesel truck that the book shows 38k used is bringing 20K. It is best to buya truck or SUV one to two years old for nothing if you need one.Between Magiccarpetrides and myself I think we might be able to help. Drop me a e-mail.
  23. Do whats best for your little girl. Period!! Maybe a professional can talk to your Daughter so you don't always look like the bad guy.
  24. That is true about not being courtmartialed but you can find yourself before a Federal Magistrate real quick. You can plead the ignorance routine. Separate the ammo from pistol and lock in baggage in trunk. Usually they graduate a whole battalion at a time in the Summer so a lot of people will be visiting. Go to Five Points downtown there is a restaurant called Yesterday's. It is in the College district and a lot of things to do there.
  25. This might answer your question:http://www.jackson.army.mil/DES/weapons.htm I would do the hotel safe in a small case. They should let you pick it up later. Congrats on your son's graduation. I did my first tour as a DI at Ft. Jackson.
