  11. No, would love to came to Owl Hollow sometime. I have little one's at my age and wife works night's at the hospital. It's just a lot more convenient due to time for Stones River than going to Owl Hollow. Who am I kidding. I can't get a long YARD PASS!!! Much less a Garage Pass. Anybody got the local number to the Men's Shelter?
  12. Well for some of us it is a 10 min to Stones River vs a 1 1/2 hours to OHGC. If some want to meet this side of town on the same day I'm in. I have always been treated well there.

    Anybody

I found a tiny Beretta 21 that I thought I had loaned my Brother a while back. I haven't shot it in four years.
  14. I'm in for this end of town. Maybe we could have two groups. Meet at basically the same time on Sunday. Eat up the road from Stones River at Providence.
  15. On Joe's note the best time to buy is the last business day or two before the end of the month. I have never seen it like this right now. A Manager wants to show the most gross they can before the end of the month. A salesman want to earn a paycheck. Don't trade if you can help it sell it out right. If you have decent credit or cash it is a buyers market. If there is anything I can do to help drop me a line. I know most of the dealers within a 150 mile radius of Nashville. I have watched CARMAX buyers pay stupid money for cars at wholesale. Which = Higher cost to end user. My sellers love these guys. Hell, I do too!!!! $$$$$$ P.S. Joe, sell me that King Ranch for 25K :drama:
  16. Wholesalers use the Black Book or MMR . They are night and day different that Blue Book or consumer reports. Trucks and SUV's, medium to large are bringing 1/2 of what they should and this is not reflected in the books the normal customer can purchase. Ask for a AUTO CHECK report and look around and shop. Vehicles are the second largest purchase most of us make.
  17. We sell CARMAX on the average 100 cars a week. They buy a little of everything. Their buyers are trained in only a few short weeks hence the buying lease turn ins. Most of these cars are cars that are turned down by franchise dealers BMW VW Audi GE. Most of the time we repair the obvious and do an oil change. You don't know how the previous owner took care of the car. They try to buy within warranty to forgo any further problems. The whole market is upside down by about fifty percent. A CARFAX report is a sham, we use AUTO CHECK which is a lot more accurate. Shop around you can find better deals than CARMAX. But they are a nice bunch of people.
  18. Very nice. Who made the rail system?
  19. Sam did my double barrel. It was a polished blue and a great job taking out the pitting. He does a lot of custom 1911 work.http://www.legallyarmed.com/complete.htm
  20. Medium London Broil, roasted new potatoes and Yorkshire pudding with bisto.
  21. I am truly sorry to hear this. I always enjoyed our banter. Even when I disagreed with a lot that he said. May he rest in peace. He will be in my family prayers.
