  1. Most just get the Company Clerk to type up on letterhead that you have met the requirements for qualification with a handgun. Have it state the hours of training and what you shot, Expert, Sharpshooter etc etc. Then have the CO sign it and attach your scorecard and you should be good to go.
  2. We use to cut cards to see which of us Drill's were coming to pickup at the Reception Station. The rest stayed in th Company AO to wait on the cattle trucks with the Splibs to arrive. I have fond memories of my 24 total first day experiences of picking up recruits.

  14. I was at Academy today at Rivergate Mall Nashville. They were putting out cases upon cases of this ammo at 11:00 today. They were sitting on the main counter. I ask the MGR behind the counter about this and he shrugged saying they have been getting shipments every couple of days. I picked up two more 500 round cases.
  15. Brother called and stated he saw 1.89 in Alpharetta, GA.
  16. Taking the kids out to trick or treat.
  17. I went to the Mt Juliet Community Center at least four times on the way to work. I finally went after work and waited 1.5 hours. I never realized there were so many senior citizens in Wilson County.
  18. I know some people including I that use to cast our own hollow base wad cutters to load reverse. We use to increase the tin and alloy mix to make a harder bullet. At 10 yards they use to penetrate a wet 1 1/2 phone books. This was in the 70's. at the time there wasn't much offered. Almost all commercial ammo were standard LRN.
  19. It's great ammo. I have a few thousand rounds of it.
