I am in the Auto Auction Business and this has directly impacted our business. I work on commission and have to work three times as hard as I used to for about half the pay. With five auctions within a 40 mile radius of Nashville, I stay on the road chasing every lead. Its not the auto manufacturers. Its the credit and loan issues. You have to have over a 700 Beacon score to by the last few months. This has been going on longer than the big three auto companies. People have been scaling back for a year and a half.

It took me right at six months to get my renewal.

Chrysler, GMAC is owned by Cerberus. An American company who also owns Bushmaster, DPMS, Remington/Marlin and Cobb Manufacturing. They bought out Daimler(Germany) a couple of years for controlling interest in Chrysler. Same with GM for GMAC.

I did mine in Tullahoma and live in Gladeville (Wilson County). Make sure you take your Birth Certificate or passport.

My renewal took five months. Started on the 14th of May got in October.

i have lived around the outskirts of Atlanta for many years. Conyers, McDonough, Fayetteville. My brother lives in Fayetteville near Peachtree City and it is very nice. Commuting into Atlanta is one big pain in the ***. Stick to the suburbs. I moved here a few years ago to get away and have no plans to go back. I do a lot of business in the Huntsville, Al area and it is nice there. Lot of tech jobs in that area.
