  1. Good choice. Waiting on my new to me Savage to get here. I chose a .204 only because I am a wimp. Okey
  2. Glad I waited till today to post. The show was smaller than I was hoping for and might have made comments I would have regretted posting. I always thought Hero Gear was worth the drive from Nashville and have made it several times. It looked like Joe brought the whole store with him. I found lowers, quality ARs and ammunition at good prices. Also learned a few things from some of the venders. Cost me 8.00 to get in the door which was less than the 800.00 it cost me to get out the door at Hero Gear last trip. Good first event. Okey Fan of beef jerkey
  3. Nashville-About 30 miles. These are .17 Remington NOT .17 Remington Fireball. They are yours if you can use them. Okey
  4. I will start. The .17 Remington and .17 Remington Fireball are different cartridges. Not sure if anyone makes a rifle chambered in .17 Remington anymore. If you find one I have 39 factory rounds I will let you have. Okey
  5. UPDATE: Deadline dissolves in Barfoot flag fight A homeowner's association said today it will drop threatened legal proceedings against Col. Van T. Barfoot over the Medal of Honor recipient's refusal to get rid of a vertical flag pole. "The Sussex Square Homeowners Association Board has agreed to withdraw legal action previously announced for Friday, December 11, 2009 at 5:00 p.m.," U.S. Sen. Mark Warner announced this evening shortly after 6.

  9. I had never heard of this cartridge before. The last gun I could find that was chambered in it was manufactured around WW2. Okey
  10. I haven't priced one in a while but the older F150 cores are easy to change. I can change one in about an hour and XDShooter could probably do it in 15 minutes. Okey

Sawyer Permethrin works for me. Not sure about the odor. Where I hunt that isn't a problem. They have it at BassPro. Okey
  14. I live in Nashville and went to Dr Sites in Clarksville. The reason I went to him is I couldn't get any doctors here that understood trying to see sights on a pistol. Dr Sites is a shooter and understood my problem and took the time to talk to me. He gave me several different strengths of contacts to try out. He said if the contacts didn't work for me he would order some glasses that would. After trying the contacts I have mixed feelings. They work perfect for shooting pistols but when I look thru my Eotech all I see is a big fuzzy ball. I have to remove my close distant contact or move it to my non dominant eye to use the Eotech. Was really pleased with his service. Welcome to Sites Vision Okey
