Hate to be the first one to tell you but- the SEC ain't gonna be there this year.......
-
With that said- FSU still has more National Championships than Auburn.
-
That gives me a chuckle, the part about Vandy I mean.
-
Maybe a little too much
-
Guess you are right. The ACC can't hold a candle to the SEC, a conference that's top heavy with such perennial powerhouses as Vandy, Ole Miss, Miss State, S. Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky and Arkansas...... ;-)

Well dadgum! I thought his movies were pretty good and he seemed to have a bright future ahead of him.

Here is our newest family member "Wildrose Roll Tide Roll" but we call him Bear. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk

What?! FSU beat Clemson, who was a top 5 team at the time, with a true Freshman QB and in Death Valley. And Clemson had a veteran QB and their offense could do more than simply run the ball for 4 qtrs.........
-
He won't. Jumbo Fisher took a class from Tallahassee Police Dept on how to protect your QB.
-
Not so fast my friend! Not with FSU having the highest rated QB in the country and an awesome defense. You must have not watched the Iron Bowl tonight. Bama couldn't even beat a one dimensional team that could only run the ball.
-
The Barners came away with a win tonight. Never let it be said that being one dimensional doesn't pay off tho. Anyway, crappy play calling and mental mistakes were the deciding factors in this game. I'm a Florida State Alum and I'm happy my Noles will likely be #1 in the new poll, but I'm still not ashamed to say Roll Tide Roll!!

"Tapping your brakes" to tell him to back off probably didn't help. That's not a legitimate signal. Best thing to do is remain calm, increase your following distance, and eventually move out of his way when safe to do so. When he made the gun gesture that's when it is time to call THP with his description. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
My mistake. My moms side of the family is in Defuniak Springs which is west of you. I was thinking about that being west of you but hunting hogs in Suwannee.. Guess i'm up to late :snore: When I had my business we were located in between and north of Destin and Panama City but When I would get the time I would take my boat over to Apalatchicola and fish the bay.
My hometown is Chipley, which is just east of Defuniak Springs and my wife is from Panama City. Best oysters in the world come from Apalachicola.

Here's another point to think about- where are you going to shoot a 50 BMG? Do you have access to a range that is set up for it? I'd imagine you'd be able to find far more ranges that would allow the Lapua and 300WM.

Tell her to take it easy and we will continue praying for the both of you.

Go to YouTube and search for "Phone Doctor". They put up how to videos that are clear and easy to follow. You can buy the parts & tools from them or send them your device for repair. We just sent our daughter's iPod Touch to them because of shattered screen. It was $79 to replace. Haven't gotten it back yet so can't comment on workmanship.

I picked up an Arsenal SAM7SF-84 yesterday. Very nice built rifle. Problem is there is nowhere in the Memphis area to shoot the thing, without joining MIdsouth Sport Shooting.
-
Oh, she said the SHTF alright..... Just keeping my head down for now. Enjoy the rifle.
-
Welcome! Glad to have you aboard.

Spots, first you get me into trouble with the SOE chest rig and now this! I can only take so much of my wife punching me in the throat. Congrats on the rifle and definitely post up pictures & updates as you work on your project.

I have a Lone Wolf lock on and it is comfortable as well as rock solid. A little pricey tho....

Welcome to TGO. I live in Arlington and try my best to stay as close to home as I can! -
Looks like the starched their covers with them sitting on a roll of toilet paper! A buddy of mine went thru MCRD Parris Island in 1982. That's how he said they taught them to do it.

I know this is old thread- my new Strider SA has very similar spots, actually one large spot. I wiped it with a silicone gun cloth and it faded but once the silicone dissipated it came back. I wonder if it's the coating since ZT uses same/similar? Also, could it be stains from the kydex sheath? Edit: I read Leroy's post above mine and his explanation seems to make sense....
Had forgotten about this post. Since you seem to be concerned let me ease you through this: The reason I considered this is being in a wheelchair "I use public transportation at the moment and despite a lot of research I can't seem to find any class that would fall in [public transit's] hours of operation so I can get back and forth. [FL's] can be done by mail so that takes the travel burden off of me.". Considering that you were supposedly a LEO down there and aren't familiar enough to know I would still have to pass a background check sounds fishy to me. The only difference is here I have to take a class that is inaccessible to me. The link you provided is a link for "What states honor my permit?". But you did not provide the state, as the link follows it is just an may/shall/right denied issue map. Try clicking FL and then non-resident...TN does honor them. In fact, the only state in the south east that doesn't honor them is SC. Just to update everyone else: I have not sought out the FL permit and still have yet to get a TN one. While I have had some offers from members to transport me (Thank you guys) none have lived close enough (most offers from Nash and me in Cosby) to make that a realistic option for me.
I didn't say you wouldn't have to pass a background check, that's a given. I was an LEO. Sorry if you don't believe that. Also, I don't believe you cannot find a class to take during public transportation operating hours. Have you called around to the various schools and explained your situation? Asked if they could refer you a private instructor if the school could not accommodate you? In just about every gun store in our area I see business cards for private instructors. You cannot continue to carry on an out of state permit as a resident of TN. Stop trying to find a $75 solution to a $5 problem. How do you plan to get the required training certificate for the FL permit if you can't find a place to get the one for TN?
