I've been suffering from Glockitis for a very long time. Now I've also come down with a mild case of AKitis.

Guess that agency doesn't own spike strips...... -
That's what I'm afraid of.

I'll have to get mine out and look but I think the sam7 adapter may be welded in.

I don't think I get that channel on my Directv.... LOL! -
I have a sam7 as well. It has a milled receiver and most adapters I've found will not work on them. Let me know what they tell you.

I think you may have to have a designated room in your home for the FFL. One with separate access to the outside. I know a local guy that has done transfers for me. His shop is set up in his garage with high tech security, etc. That way when BATFE comes by they only have access to his garage and not the entire home. I was an LEO in Florida and for a period of time I was an investigator with their equivalent to the beverage control commission. People would get a license for a tobacco distributor and run it out of their house. If they submitted a sketch of their licensed premise that included their entire home then we were allowed to search every square inch of the home without a warrant......
Bonesteel makes about the best. Ace makes one, Stomrwekz makes one, DPH makes one. Most use the Ace system to attach but with the Bonesteel you won't have to cut the tang or make many permanent mods like the Ace will require. http://www.bonesteelarms.com/AK_c5.htm
I was looking at the Bonesteel adapter but couldn't tell from the picture if it would do what I wanted it to. LAV's rifle is an Arsenal as well. From looking at his and mine I'm thinking that rivets may have to be removed and a new bracket re-riveted in place (I don't have tangs on the back of my receiver).
-
Some adapters use the tangs on the back of the receiver, some require you to cut the tangs off. My rifle is already set up for a folder so I'm looking for one that will bolt right in and allow me to screw on the buffer tube.

I have an Arsenal SLR107 with a side folding stock and I want to change it out for a collapsible M4 type stock. I've found adapters for changing out fixed stocks but not one for side folding. Does anyone know where I can find one? I know they make one because I saw a picture of an AK that Larry Vickers recently put together and that rifle has a side folding stock. Here is a picture of that rifle and I'm turning mine into something similar to it.

I'm not bad mouthing RUSA or Rangemaster. I do prefer the environment at RUSA tho. As far as training- I think the best thing to do is to look at your current skill set and decide what training you need to enhance it. Then go out and find trainers that can help, whether it's a NRA certified instructor that's local to you or Magpul Dynamics. When I started in law enforcement back in the 90's I was fortunate to work with guys that had seen a lot of action. These guys were Vietnam vets that came home and became LEO's. They had been in some pretty hairy stuff in Nam and a couple had been shot up pretty good while working a police officers. I spent a lot of time talking with them about this and learned some real world SHTF stuff. Later I became a firearms instructor and thought some in academy setting and of course agency training. I learned a lot from working with people of all different kinds of firearms experience. BTW- I posted on Ronin's Facebook page about upcoming courses. They replied and said the take a break Dec/Jan/Feb mostly due to weather and will pick back up in March. They said they are putting together their 2014 schedule now. -

The schedule doesn't show anything but I saw a post today on their Facebook page about them adding SCARs to their training. Hopefully they will have some classes soon. BTW- I'm not going to pay for training at Rangemaster or Range USA. I'd rather spend it with Larry Vickers, Kyle Lamb, Kyle Defoor, etc. It's just my opinion but I'd rather pay to learn from guys with proven military special ops experience. -

As soon as I recover fully from my knee surgeries I'm going to take one of Ronin Combat's courses. You can see some of their stuff on YouTube. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk -
Man, if I ever win the Powerball I'm going to find about 500 acres (mostly wooded) and build right smack in the middle of it. My wonderful wife loves the idea too.

We are praying for you and your family. As said before, if you need anything don't hesitate to ask. -
That's the issue- it's the old "you are only #1 because of a computer" argument. When that fails they start the "toughest conference" argument. I'm tired of the boo hoo-ing. When he couldn't take the heat anymore he got personal saying I'm classless. BTW- the computer didn't put them at the top simply because they are undefeated. The formula is a little more involved than that.

Yep, I'm a native Floridian, lived in Tallahassee for several years, and did in fact graduate from FSU. But now you are saying I'm classless. You are the one whinning about how FSU sucks and that Auburn deserves to be in the title game simply because the conference they are in. You kept going on and on and on. Boo hoo, Auburn is getting robbed, boo hoo...... Dont attack FSU if you can't take the same about Aubarn..... Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk

I'll offer you this- you come to my house, we will grill out and watch the National Championship game. Then I'll come to your house, we'll grill out and watch Auburn play in the Tyson Chicken Nugget Bowl........

The thing I picked up on is this: Nutnfancy tells him "good job" and his son says "really?". From the way he said it & the expression on his face it gives me the impression he never really hears that from his dad. It's like he was checking to see if his dad was being sarcastic. "Nice job dude bro", "you totally not sucked at shooting the M-1"- Nutnfancy "Dad, please talk like an adult and not a burned out surfer dude"- Son
