I've worn Luminox for years but recently purchased a MTM. The MTM is a nice looking watch but I like the Luminox more. The Luminox uses Tritium on the numbers so you can read it in the darkest of dark. The MTM only glows for a second after you hit it with a bright light or sun light.

I'm putting a lo-pro gas block on my AR and was wondering what is the best way to make sure the gas block lines up with the port in the barrel.

Tennessee, Auburn, Arkansas- only 3 of the many teams that are rumored to be courting Gruden. He'd be stupid to leave his current gig.

I have a couple of boxes of the Black Talon in .40 S&W and about 20 boxes of the Ranger T in the same caliber. Been looking for Ranger T's in .45 ACP.
I know it's probably been a while since your team has won, but do you know how much $$$ the entire conference makes off a championship? I think Auburn got $20m+ in 2010. It may not be that much, but you get the idea... I hate Bama, but I'll take a piece of the pie.
Auburn got $20m+ in 2010 but they had to pay Cam Newton 34% of it as part of his pay for play deal.
Bush increased the national debt from $3.339 trillion from 2001 to $6.369 trillion in 2008. Obama increased the national debt from $6.369 trillion in 2008 to $11.12 trillion in July of this year. I heard a snippet of Obama's victory speech last night replayed on the radio this morning and he talks of "tackling the national debt". I don't see how he plans to do that when he doesn't have a budget and has doubled it in 4 years.
And 34% of the money he is spending he has borrowed from other countries (China)....

I really like Daniel Craig's version of Bond. Its a different type of character- more head bashing than Connery's smooth talking version.

Surefire flashlight parts- Memphis area
Surefire sells parts on their website. I'd rather have a used OE part than a new Chinese one.
That's why I ordered the conversion head from Surefire. -
That's a nice version in the ad- with Magpul stocks. No scope tho. That rifle is in ad #3 and those items go on sale at 5 AM. I'm wondering if they are going to be able to do the transaction at that time of morning because the store calls in to the state for the background check. Is the state's call center staffed at 5 AM? Also, not all stores will have the SIG M400. Only the stores traited for AR style rifles will get them. If your store doesn't carry AR now they won't get them.

Glad to hear they are taking care of you. Did they give you any idea of what "repairs" they are doing?
I have a tail cap for a 6P and a standard bulb. If you need them just PM me and I'll send them for the cost of shipping.
Thanks! I've ordered a LED conversion head and if it still doesn't work I'll PM you for the tail cap. -
If it's an incan, the head might be bad. Those have always had an issue of wearing out, whether SF or others. I would check into putting an LED into it. It would be more cost effective in the long run and you'd get better results
Thanks! I ordered the LED conversion head for it and will see if that works. -

I need a lamp and possibly a switch for an old 6P my wife gave me when I graduated from the police academy. I put fresh batteries in but she won't fire up. -
The only other places I could think of would be Dick's or maybe Sportsman's Warehouse in OB. I don't know for sure though. I'm sure those parts could be had on eBay for cheaper though. Of course if you need them now that won't do you any good.
Thanks for the reply. I may end up ordering them but wanted to see if I could find them local. That's just my luck- if I didn't want it I would find them everywhere. -
Can anyone tell me where I can find Surefire light parts (lamp assembly, etc) in the Memphis area. Bass Pro doesn't carry them anymore. Thanks!

I'd like to see them do other mini-series as well. As far as the different dialects go- we have fairly different ones within our own part of the country. I grew up in the Florida Panhandle but when I talk with others from the South they all ask if I'm from Georgia. My doctor even pointed this out because he had a roommate in college that was from GA. He said it was the way I pronounced certain words, such as "our". Oddly enough, people that grew up outside the South all ask if I'm from Texas.

I second the burgers at Tops! Central BBQ is one of my favs and Leonard's BBQ has a great lunch buffet....

I think if ol' Devil Anse Hatfield would have put a bullet in Uncle Vance's brain and had given the McCoys a new hog the whole shootin match could have been avoided. The series was well done and fairly good entertainment. A mix of truth and hollywood as usual. I think Kevin Costner did a good job but every time they showed Devil Anse I kept waiting for him to move in with Native Americans and start dancing with wolves........

Now that is a sweet car! Hope he is taking steps to preserve her.

The white one is a restyling of a late model Corvette to make it look like an early model. I'm not sure they are worth anymore than any other late model.

Armed Robbery- Walgreens in Collierville

I bet CPD got the adrenalin pumping while responding to that call. Sure beats hiding in the trees waiting for traffic violations. Every time I see one of their officers hiding in the weeds with their radar gun out I thank God I was a Deputy Sheriff! I spent my career doing real police work and not working traffic. -
Well, looks like its time to get out of Collierville. http://www.commercialappeal.com/news/2012/may/23/bonds-set-15-million-each-collierville-robbery-sus/

Miami to use license plate scanners Memorial Day weekend

I've worked some cases on South Beach and I can say without a doubt that its the last place on Earth that I'd want to have to arrest anyone. When we arrested "females" on So Beach the first question we asked the arrestee is, "Are you now or have you ever been a male"....
