Nice pistol! I've been looking at them for a while but haven't stumbled on a good deal like the one you got.

Thank you all! We got the last pick of the litter when he was born but The Lord was looking out for us. He had the best personality of all of them. When the breeder took them to their first vet visit, Chewy was the one puppy that sat up front of their truck while his brothers and sisters sat in the back seat whimpering. When they got to the vet Chewy got right up on the exam table and went with the flow. His litter mates all wanted nothing to do with it. We got him with intentions of showing him for conformation. Unfortunately it turned out he had bad food and other allergies. One of the things he was allergic to was chicken. You can imagine it was hard finding food that did not have chicken in it. He was also allergic to pine pollen. We lived in the FL Panhandle so pine pollen really ate him up. Anyway, thanks to everyone here for your kind words and listening to my rant on. You TGO'ers are like my extended family. BTW, Chewy was a staunch supporter of our 2nd Amendment Rights!

Today we had to put our 13 year old Chocolate Lab, Chewbacca, to sleep. We think he had a brain tumor and this past Thursday he started having seizures. The vet upped his dose of Prednisone and wanted to watch him over the weekend. Today he had more seizures, 7 of them in about 4 hours. Chewy was our first child and we were so lucky to have him in our lives.

Awesome video and I've shared it with everyone I know! I'd love to see a television debate between Gabby Giffords and the permit holder that saved her a** on the topic of gun control. I bet she wouldn't even be able to look them in the eye. "Don't fight each other, fight the evil boyfriend"....

The 10-round limit on magazines makes absolute sense to me, there would be no way I'd tote around 6 10-rounders instead of 2 30-rounders...... :shake:   When lawmakers combine an agenda with a heightened sense of emotion, they do not make an omelette....

My whole life he told me he voted party and not candidate and I loved picking at him about Republicans vs Democrats. Unfortunately he passed away before the election. I imagine I would have gotten a certain level of joy tormenting him about "his" President.

1,000 times more wise than I'll ever be. He lived thru the Great Depression and until the day he died he blamed the Republicans for it.

My Grandfather use to say that a Republican was nothing more than a rich Democrat.

Yep, that was my point. Closing the "loophole" will only hurt law abiding citizen like you and me & will do nothing to prevent guns from falling into the wrong hands.

Back when I was a Deputy Sheriff I had a Sgt on my shift that had a bumper sticker on the cage in his patrol car. It was right there for everyone he took to jail to read. It said, "If You're Gonna Be Stupid, You Had Better Be Tough". Cuomo needs that bumper sticker pasted on his desk for him to read every time he sits down......

In Criminology we learned of the "Balloon Effect" in reference to anti-crime efforts. Take a balloon that is half full of air and push your finger into it. What happens? The balloon will sink in around your finger but rise everywhere else. Those that study crime trends have proven this over and over. Focus on efforts on burglaries and robberies will go up, etc. If we close the loophole the not-so-nice people will still get their hands on guns- by breaking into homes, stores, cars, etc, and taking them.

"Insiders say Cuomo, who is believed to harbor aspirations to run for the White House in 2016, wants to seize the political high ground following Newtown by having New York pass measures aimed at reducing gun violence before such a step can be taken by Congress or any other state." If you plan to run for President then supporting something like this is the quickest way to end your chance.

Would be interesting to put up a sign that says, "All .22, .223, 5.56 and 7.62 ammo has been balsamic arbitrated until further notice" just to see it show up on a forum.

What does "futher notice" mean? Well, when they were hired they had the choice between 2 training classes- Bullets 101 and Typing. Guess you can guess which one they chose. BTW, do they have any 40 S&W WWB in the 100 round pack?

Maybe Walmart is on the "keep your friends close, and your enemies closer" plan. Being on Bloomburg's commission is a good way to keep your enemy close.

Wanted to ask a question. My Mother-in-Law moved to TN from FL about 3 years ago. She passed away last week. She had a will but my question is if her estate must go thru probate. If it does do we need an attorney? I'm not looking for free legal advice, just wanted to see if anyone has gone thru this and can point me in the right direction.

Another issue is that some of the stores in my area have run out of tax stamps so what ammo they are getting in stays locked up in the back until they get more stamps.
