  1. Wish I had seen this deal when posted originally. Good deal!
  2. My three year old controls a helicopter just fine. Some have a self righting gyro. The Syma ones from Amazon are awesome and easy. Best $15 spent in a long time. They work great indoors and I take them into the office for team building obstacle course races. They are breakable, but a parts kit is cheap.
  3. I can attest that it's better in person. Sharp sucker too.
  4. Agreed ^ Regal has quite a bit as well.
  5. You guys are starting to tempt me with all of these good looking blades.  I've never carried a fixed blade, but I could use a good camp knife.  Almost too afraid to find out how much $$ they bring.
  6. Darn....my little girl has been bugging me to buy some .22.  The one day that I am not in front of the computer.....
  7. I haven't played with the Raven's Crest, but have seen a thread or two. I really like the Dark Angel, but not sure that I will be happy with a single action.
  8. I've had various benchmade and microtech autos for quite some time. I think I got my first 3550 back in 99 or 00. I've been lusting after a Benchmade Infidel or Microtech Combat Troodon. I am leaning toward the Microtech in dual edge spear point. I really think I prefer a dual action. Is there anything else that I should consider instead? I've handled the Infidel but not the Troodon. Is there anywhere semi local to Nashville that carries Microtech?
  9. Charlotte Walmart has .40 and .45 in stock, but at full boat. Glad I got my 5k or so......
  10. Still see 308 around.
  11. haven't seen the .45 yet...but still see the .308 pretty regular.  also noticed that the ZQI 7.62 brass is on $6.94 rollback as well.
  12. Yeah...there are a few in middle TN that list irrevocable trusts as an area of expertise. Hyatt is a national plan that subcontracts local attorneys. I doubt they could help with this specific of a question. I realize that $500 is not much, but it would be nice to use a company benefit in an unintended way.
  13. Sorry to dredge this up again, but I have a similar need. While Chip McCain and John Wells seem to be the go to people, they won't work for my need. I have access to a group of lawyers through Hyatt Legal and would like to use one of them. This is a benefit through my employer, so there is no charge to me. There are 10-15 middle TN attorneys that are part of the group. Any other recommendations so I can check the list again?
  14. ^ me too. Heard all the 223 is gone from the warehouse.
  15. Ha. I wish. I wanted to buy it all, but felt bad and left half. 1500 rounds for less than $300 including tax. Not too shabby.
  16. Bought all the 223 I needed today at old fort Wal-Mart in Boro. There were 30+ boxes of 223 left and tons of 9 and 308 when I left. Nothing at all at Antioch Wal-Mart. I'm done, so don't worry about me getting your stash anymore.
  17. Just.308 now.
  18.   My limit was 10 of each caliber with 5 from each of the two stores. The guy at the counter at Charlotte said that he sold a whole case of of the 9mm to someone.  Don't know how many were in a case though.  Could have been a limit, but didn't seem like it.
  19. Lots of 308 and 9 at Charlotte. Lots of 9 and some 308 at Dickerson. Bought my limit of both. Don't need 9, but need 45 and 223. If anyone wants to trade a couple of boxes, shoot me a pm.
  20. I would love some 45 boxes. I just got most of my reloading set up for Christmas. I am in west Nashville, but have family in Murfreesboro.
  21. I don't have any details either, but both officers at my hcp class on Sunday were whispering about something along these lines.
  22. Yeah, but thanks for the info anyway. I am just worried about the 6 months expiring before I apply, hence the urgency. The normal fee is what I am trying to avoid, and based on my drivers license, I have until June 3rd.
  23. Excellent! This is just what I was looking for and will probably book through him. Guns and Leather was tempting because of the price, but getting there at 8 am from the boro was not that appealing.
  24. Thanks for all the suggestions. Looks like I will have no problem fulfilling the requirement in time.
  25. Like the title states, I need to find a permit class by the end of this month. I moved to TN from GA at the end of last year. My grace period will run out soon and I nearly forgot all about it. Does anyone know of an outfit that has a class coming up that has an opening? Private or through a range? I definitely would prefer something on the cheaper end of the spectrum, but beggars can't be choosers. Thanks in advance!
