1. A couple of months ago I accepted an AT&T software upgrade on my Skyrocket and my phone went to hell. It kept locking up and I had to reboot it several times a day just to keep it working. I finally had all I could take, and rather than pitch it out the window, I flashed Cyanogenmod 10 (Jelly Bean) on it. Now it is smoking fast again and has lots of updated features. Anyone else delve into the ROM world?
2. Welcome! I look forward to learning a bit from you. I lived in Fort Worth and worked in White Settlement in the early 90's. Not that I remember much of the place, long time ago.
3. I think it's a media conspiracy to sweep trampling stories under the rug. ;0)
4. Welcome, happy turkey day!
5. Happy Thanksgiving!

8.
If we're playing "closest without going over"...I'll take 6. xD
Awe man! Now I feel like I'm on The Price is Right.
9. 5. Oh, are we starting a pool? If so, I got 5. :0)
10.
Always thought about getting one ... but I heard they can blow up too! Have they remedied that yet?
Mine has a lid lock that keeps the lid closed while pressurized, as well as three stages of pressure relief. First the normal one with the weight, then a secondary rubber plug, and finally a large emergency release that will rapidly vent if it gets critical. You will be completely safe as long as you follow the instructions and don't over fill it. Mine is a Presto 6 quart, and seems to be very good.
11. Not sure about that. Fish is on my list though.
12. Well, I recently picked up a Presto pressure cooker after wanting one for a long time. So far, I've cooked two meals in it and am really impressed! First meal was pinto beans with ham cut up in it. With out a doubt the best I've ever made, and it was about two and a half hours (quick soak included) start to finish and I had a two pound pot of beans. Second meal, I quartered some red potatoes (about 9 medium sized) and put them in the bottom with two cups of water, two bullion cubes, and then put the divider tray in. On that, I put six inch-thick boneless pork chops seasoned with a little salt and Ms. Dash. Topped with two tbs. butter. Brought it to pressure and cooked for 16 minutes. Start to finish, I had about 35 minutes of work for a fantastic meal. I finished the chops with a quick sear in a pan, 45 seconds on each side. They were fork tender and wonderful! I mashed the potatoes with a little more butter and seasoning. Can't believe I waited this long to try a pressure cooker. I'm sold!

bad day

I don't know the situation, but my heart really hurts for you. I hope your arm strength returns quickly.
15. I'll wait for Dolomite. He knows all the intricacies.
16.
I don't have a budget. I'll spend whatever it takes to build a good one, but I am challenging myself to put a complete kit together, with good optics, for $3K or less.
I can't wait to see how this turns out!
17. Welcome!
18. Don't have BO2 yet. Bought Battlefield 3 when it came out but just recently started playing again after many months of not. XO D0M N8T0R is my tag. I like the TGO clan tag idea.
19. I don't know if this has been said, as I only read some of the posts. The main idea to practice is shoot center mass of whatever is presented, i.e. the head if that is what you have, or chest (aka Goody Basket). The idea is to hit the target with as little chance of missing as possible. Center mass is key, and it is not specific to a part of the body, it's the largest portion being presented. For example, if the combatant is in a car and the head is showing, then center of the head. If squared on, then the chest. Behind cover, then a leg sticking out, or whatever. I know this goes a little beyond a typical SD shooting and is more toward engaging an enemy, but the overall idea is the same. Aim for the biggest target. If you take time to line up your shot, then squeeze one off carefully, you could be inviting some Monday morning quarterbacking questioning whether you had time to react differently since you had that much time to choose a place to shoot.
20. I have a guy who just did an excellent job on our living room with 20 foot ceiling. I'll pm his information tomorrow morning.
21. That sucks. My goal is to move to the country, but I need many acres between me and a neighbor for just the problems you've been having. Plus I like my privacy.
22. I'm a little torn on this. Seems like a good way to get guns out of the hands of stupid people.
23.
Impressive. That kinda ruined their day I'm guessing.
I hardly think so, what with the virgins and all.
24. I've got a Vortex Strikefire and a Bushnell TRS-25. The Vortex is about double the price, but it is a fine site. Mine does red and green and is visible in bright sun. Not to knock the Bushnell, as it is a solid built sight and is reasonably bright. If you want to co-witness from a standard A-Post, you will need a riser for the TRS-25. My son has a Tru Glow that he uses on his airsoft. More bulk than the TRS-25 and maybe not as bright. I gave it a once over but haven't shot anything with it.
