I haven't shot any kind of competition since High School (which was an unfortunately long time ago) but am considering starting to do IDPA and think I can borrow a Glock for this. Hopefully I won't make too much of a fool of myself.

My feelings exactly. It annoys me to no end when someone says that if Paul is not the nominee they will write him in. He can't win with that, but we can ALL lose. Vote your conscience in the Primary, but suck it up and vote for the nominee in the General.

Nice letter! I had one I had typed up but I think this one is a bit better. It does have one little typo that needs fixing. In the first paragraph it says that their restaurant has decided to "bun guns" Might want to give it a quick update and fix that.

Did the DMV and prints on 2/28 and started the wait. Friday 3/25 I checked the mail really not looking or expecting it, didn't see anything so I put the bundle down and went back to my office. About 5 minutes later my wife comes in and says, " I can't believe you didn't grab this right-away." It had arrived. We were leaving for a retreat and even though that was about the least likely place to need it I had to pack the XD along. And made a quick stop by Walmart for snacks, an ammo price check, and a DVD too. Pretty sure my wife was laughing a bit but hey, no worries.

Been lurking for a while but finally decided to sign up and post. This forum has been invaluable as I researched my first, and soon to be 2nd, handgun purchases. I currently own an XD9sc that will likely go to my wife when I get my next one. The new one will be another XD but which one is unknown. As I am waiting for my hcp to arrive it will likely be another sub-compact or maybe and XDM compact so it is easily concealed. In addition I have a Mossberg 590 that I have had for years and a desire for an AR soon. But anyway, hi!
