Sorry for your loss, I know just how you feel. My wife and I have had three pass on over the years the last one was the hardest for me he was just two years old when I had to put him down. We both sat and pondered about getting another one we just couldn't stand to come home to an empty house so we got another one and it was the best thing we could have done. I know how you feel they are like one of your kids and some people just don't understand that. You'll know when it's time to get another just give yourself time to think about it. Take care.

1911alltheway just sent these to me on Friday. Ihad him make these for my Staccato P 4.15 2011. He did a great job they are great, fit and finish is really good, he nailed the designs I asked for. One is a Rodisan style, the other is a Bruce Nelson Combat style, both fit a 1.5" belt and hold the gun snugly, I can't wait to get them broken in. Thanks 1911alltheway you did a great job on making these for me.

Here it is. -
I just got home and opened up the package I received from 1911alltheway. He made me sheath for my latest knife purchase from GrandTrino. Here is a picture of both. I'll give some more details later on. Let me know what you think about them.

Big Bowie headed to a new home...

1911alltheway just Shipped my knife and sheath out today along with a holster he made me for my Wilson CQBE, can't wait to see how it turned out, between his leather work and GrandTrino's knife making skills they really just amaze me by the way I can describe what I would like made and they both nail it every time. Thanks guys I'll post some more pics of the knife and sheath plus an honest review of the holster he made when I receive them. -
That is one nice looking Smith & Wesson, those grips make that gun. Enjoy shooting it, makes me wish I still had mine.

Here is a pic 1911alltheway sent me the other day of the sheath he made for this one. I'll post up some more pics when I get this one back from him, he really did a great job on this one. -
No this one isn't one of my play toys, I'll just send it off and get a new bolt built for it.
-
That would be great I'm working up there during the week, I'll look them up when I get there
-
Yeah that's why I want a one piece replacement bolt from PTG, but don't know any gunsmiths around TN to do it, I really don't want to mail off my action to somewhere when I could drive a few hours to drop it off.
-
Here's one more, not sure if this can be fixed
-
Here's what it looks like.

I need a Gun Smith to fit and head space a new bolt for my Remington 700 in 308. I have a custom built Remington by RITTEN PRECISION no longer in business, It came with a PTG Two Piece bolt, I sent the bolt off to be fluted and refinished well long story short I managed to drop it and break the handle off don't ask. I'm not sure if it can be welded back it doesn't look like it can. Does anyone know of a gunsmith in TN. that would order me a new PTG One Piece Bolt and fit it. Thanks

Looks good, glad you found what you wanted.

Can't wait to see what sheath 1911alltheway comes up for this one, I'll send you a pm tonight when I get home. Thanks again for the opportunity to purchase this one. -
I would challenge you to that task, if you made it in Damascus steel with a 3"'-3 1/2" blade, I would most likely buy it. You know me I like to challenge your skills.

No problem, I've got another style, a Bruce Nelson that I would like to send you also and see if you can maybe make one like it also. I would like a Rhodesian in smooth leather with a little more higher ride and to fit a 1.5" gun belt. Just PM me and if you want I'll send them out to you for you to look at.
-
I can't wait to see this in person, from the pics it looks great you did a great job on making that sheath, thanks again.
-
Looks great, the only thing I can see that you could change is the angle of the belt loop. On my Thad Rybca Rhodesian Holster the belt loop is straight. Other than that you did a great job, I would be proud to own that holster. I could send you my orginal for you to examine in person, just PM me.

Thanks that pic you sent me with the leather sheath is awesome, can't wait to get my hands on this one.

Can't wait to get this one. Thanks again Grand Torino as usual you nailed exactly what I wanted.

Thanks, that is some good information, it had to happen sometime.

My two out of the "box" Wilson CQBE's have never taken a dump. I've got 18,000 rnds. down one and have only had to replace the springs, the second has 12,000 rnds through it and both have ran flawlessly since I had them ordered and built(not out of the box) I've had two ED BROWNS both of those ran without a problem, also had a NightHawk GRP that once it hit 15,000rnds the ejector tip broke off but it kept running, several LES BAERS now they all had some little problems but mainly they were Magazine related. I carry both Wilson's. I've had $3000+ guns and $300 dollar 1911's all of them have functioned except for one and that one was a Kimber I couldn't get that thing to run at all so I sold that one, but I have owned two more Kimbers that ran fine. It doesn't matter what brand or how much you spend you just have to make sure they run.
