Well I got a reason not to ever go back, I'll spend my money elsewhere, even if it's $10 more than they are advertising for the same thing.

If that's their policy, I won't patronage their stores even if they had buy 1000rnds get 500 free. I'm old and cranky, just about had enough of the stupidity.

I went to the Rivergate Academy this morning, went to get a couple of accessories for my new pellet grill. While shopping I picked up an Otis Gun Cleaning Kit for my 9mm, I get in line and some poor fellow was trying to return something he bought. Well he was told that if he didn't have his receipt they were only going to give him a refund of half of what the item cost it was $30 total and they were only going to refund him $15.99, now to my check out experience. After he told them to shove it I go to check out, now I've been in line for 15minutes waiting on them to decide if they were going to refund his money, the check out lady starts to ring me up gets to the Otis Cleaning Kit and asks for my ID to buy it, well I lost it I asked her what she said cause I wasn't sure why she asked me for my ID. Well I'm probably not allowed back in there after I gave the manager a piece of my mind on how stupid it is to ask for ID when buying a gun cleaning kit. Oh well I won't shop there or any of their stores ever again.

Looks like he did a good job on refinishing that old Colt. Enjoy it and shoot it every now and then.

Just got this in the other day. Castillo Knife, made in Spain. The steel is SANDVIK 14C28N-SPAIN. This knife is light, you don't even know it's in your pocket. Has some nice file work on the spine, locks up solid and even. The handle is Spalted Maple, and is a regular lock back design.

I've used a Remington 870 for years for Turkey hunting and killed plenty of them. I've also had 11-87's Auto's also. You can't go wrong with an 870.

Took it to the range today, I'm liking the red dot. It surprised me how easy I could pick it up and not struggle with it. Here's the target not the best one to use for sighting in, but I aimed at different spots to see how it shot. Only had to make slight adjustments and everything was shot off hand no rest. I hope to get out with my neighbor and go shoot on his property were we always went till I got sick, it's been 4 months since I shot a handgun.

That's why I like this site, you learn something new.

You could crank out some sausage on that one. Nice find, it's funny how many different things were made by some of the old gun manufacturers.

Just finished the Grip Module install on my 2020 Staccato P DPO. I went with EXTREME SHOOTERS Grip Module like I installed on my Staccato P 4.14 except I chose the British DPM color this time, I think it looks good. Here's some pics. Thanks for looking, tell me what you think good or bad.

Got my new Grip Module in from EXTREME SHOOTERS, going to install it tomorrow sometime. Pics to follow.

Got my dies adjusted, put on a few more accessories. Tomorrow going to dump some powder in the hopper and set my grain throw for 5.4grns of W231. When that's done I'll start to finish loading up my 45's. Can't wait to run this one, I've always wanted a auto index, even after I bought my 550, which was and is a good press, especially when starting out.

David I apologize if I came off as taking offense to your comments, that wasn't my intention. This forum has been great to be a part of and I enjoy it. The fact is it's my choice to get the shot, and I respect the feelings of others you don't believe it's a good idea. I've accepted the fact that I'm not going to live forever, hell I'm lucky I made it pass 25yrs old with all the wild and crazy things I did, but I've made my peace with God and will accept and stand before him and answer for all my miss doings. I appreciate everyone's opinion on the subject. We all have are beliefs and opinions and that is why I chose to do it. Now I'm done rambling, God bless every member here, and your families.

With my cancer diagnosis two years will be a mile stone for me buddy. Besides I'm 54yrs old, just had 5 bypasses to correct my heart problems, then get a stage 4 cancer diagnosis, I got nothing to loose. I get my ass up every day at 4:30am, no I don't go to work cause I had to take an early retirement do to my condition, I excercise also, I'm 184# down from 225. I treat every day as a blessing. Shot or no shot I'm choosing to take it, and I'm not going to debate any further on this.

Well I'll let you know what happens. I for one can say if I get sick for a couple of days that's better than catching Covid-19 and possibly not recovering. Either get it or not that's your decision not mine.

I also go to TN Oncology since being diagnosed with colon cancer and some lesions on my Liver. I've had six chemo treatments so far(once every other week, so twice a month.) I'm going tomorrow to get my first Covid-19 shot, my Dr. told me also go get it, so I am. Hope your doing well, take care.

I just bought a new HOLSUN 507C x2 w/ Green Dot, thinking of putting it on my DPO but I'm going to get the one I already have installed sighted in before I decide to swap it.

Thanks for the information, I'll try that and see what I can do. I'll post back sometime next week when I get to the range.

Thanks, I like this a lot better, going to try to run some rnds down it next week at one of the indoor ranges when I have time. How accurate are the HOLOSUN out of the box, just seeing how much adjustment I might expect to make.

Got my Staccato P DPO from my FFL yesterday morning. I just finished mounting my HOLOSUN 507C x2 red dot on it. Hopefully I can go sometime next week and run some rnds down it and get the HOLOSUN adjusted. Here's some pics.
