  1. I thank you for the comment,I think. As far as a skilled shooter goes, yes I do practice at one time my neighbor and I would go out to his property and pratice Drawing, shooting on the move, and we would do our own competition on his plate rack, a steel tree plate rack, and we would set up his 12" steel plates in different configurations and pratice drawing and firing against a timer. We would shoot at least 800- 1000rnds of 45acp twice a month, so yes I did get some good pratice. As I got older here and dealing with a Cancer Diagnosis, I've switched to the 9mm platform, and chose the Staccato line of 2011 style guns do to the fact that they are exactly as a 1911 as far as the controls, Grip Saftey, Thumb Saftey and Trigger Pull plus the 9mm is easier for me to handle 500rnds a session than the 45acp. I've carried a 1911 style gun ever sinse I turned 21 and got my Carry Permit, and I'll be 56 in January so that's a total of about 44yrs with a 1911 style handguns. Now as far as the "Red Dot" craze, I have to admit that my only experience with Red Dot's were all on some sort of AR style weapon, also I'll admit that I wasn't really crazy about Red Dot's on handguns including carry weapons. Once I tried it I was hooked, and after practicing with them for some time I decided to start carrying them for CCW, and I don't see myself returning to regular sights, even though I can still transition between the two. Red Dots on carry guns might not be for everyone you have to practice getting used to them, one thing I don't understand is when Shooter's decided to go this route and mount them on their hand guns and just put it in the holster and start carrying them with out really dedicating practice with them then complain about how poor they are. Moral of the story is practice, practice and then repeat with what ever gun you chose for self defense, with or without a Red Dot. I got so used to them I mounted a HOLSUN 510 w/ Quick Detach Mount on this one.
  2. I've got five Staccato's and four of them that I carry have a red dot on them. I can pick it up faster, and keeping both eyes open. Here's three of them. 1st C2 DPO w/ Leupold Deltapoint, 2nd P DPO w/ HOLOSUN 507C X2, 3rd C DPO w/ Trijicon SRO, and my other C has a HOLOSUN 508T.

Hang in their sir, don't try to push yourself I had to learn that the hard way if your body is telling you to rest up then do it. Keep the faith, prayers sent your way for you and your family.

I had open heart surgery that required five bypasses, as I was preparing for that, my heart surgeon wanted to run a couple of more tests cause I was so low on blood, long story short also have stage four Colon Cancer and stage Four Liver Cancer. I always said go big or go home, that was two years ago last month. They gave me a Five year window to beat the Cancer, I've been on Chemotherapy Treatments for two years now twice a month. I hear you on making peace with God and I've done that, so hopefully when my time comes I'll be able to stand before him and hopefully he will let me in. A little quote I have is: "WHEN MY TIME COMES, I'LL SING MY DEATH SONG AND GO HOME LIKE A WARRIOR TO BE WITH MY BROTHERS AND FAMILY." I've carried this Case Knife daily ever since I got that digonases on the Cancer. Glad your doing good and still around, God bless and take care sir.
  6. Very rarely will you get one to slide in place. Also the over travel set screw will need set also, check out YouTube and punch in EGW, or Hilton Yam from 10-8 Preformance, even Wilson Combat has some great videos explaining everything you will need to do in order to get the job done. It's not hard but you will have to pay attention to what your doing so you don't end up with a ruined part or a faulty Trigger.
  7. Well, John Harrison, EGW, Wilson, NightHawk, 10-8 Preformance, do a search and you should find what your looking for. Remember you'll have to do some fitting on the new one, but it's not hard just got to take a few measurements of your old one and take measurements of your new one, I've fit every trigger in my 1911's and 2011's myself. Usually the only filing you will have to do will be on the Top & Bottom of the Shoe, the sides very rarely need any stoning or filing.1st pic. Old Trigger, 2nd pic the new one that I fitted on one of my Staccato 2011's.
  8. Mid week bump one last time, Thanks for looking.

    P365X Red Dot

Here's some. P DPO/ HOLOSUN 507C X2, the three shown from the back are the P DPO, C2/ Leupold Deltapoint, C/ HOLOSUN 508T, C/ Trijicon SRO, and last is HK SP5/ HOLOSUN 510. I purchased the Leupold Deltapoint and the Trijicon SRO just to see how they work out. I to wish that some more American made stuff was available but this isn't the 1940', 50's and early 60's, you can't turn around and not find a foreign product. What car do you drive, is it from the so called "Big Three", and even the parts for those are outsourced to Mexico. I try to buy U.S.A products every chance I get but it's nearly impossible these days.

    P365X Red Dot

They may be made in china but they are good optics. I understand were your coming from, but I have four of them mounted, also a Leupold Deltapoint, Trijicon SRO. The HOLSUN'S are just as good, and I never had a problem with any of them.
  11. Back up one last time, Thanks for looking.
  12. Thank's everyone for your service, and have a good safe Veterans Day!!!!
  13. Start of the weekend bump. Sorry but I won't take offers, Prices are firm. Thanks.
  14. Back up for the week, these are really clean with very light turn ring on the 357mag. Before anyone asks there is no box for the 19-4 that's why it's priced the way I posted, if it had the box I'd would have added a few hundred to the price. Thanks for looking, don't think you'll find a couple in this condition with out spending more.
  15. No that's how I got it from the gentleman that I've bought most of the eighteen Smith&Wesson Revolvers from in the last year. Please PM the questions so this doesn't continually gets bumped up to the top every time. Thanks.
  16. I've got a couple of nice Smith&Wesson Revolvers that are in great shape. First up is a J Frame 36 Chiefs mod. $600CASH Firm!!! has the original box and paperwork. Next is a 19-4 357mag. 6" Bbl. $1075 CASH/ No Box Revolver only. This one hasn't been fired much there is a very light turn ring. Please PM me your email address if you need some more detailed pictures and I'll send what you want. Meet up in the Whitehouse, Goodlettsville, Hendersonville and Nashville area but willing to drve a little to make the deal. Please post "ILL TAKE IT" in the add. PM any questions please and I'll try to answer them the nest I can. Thanks for looking.
  17. Nice, those are some great shooters. If I didn't have the HKSP5, I'd have to consider it. GLWS.
  18. Mid week bump. I lowered the price to $2175 Firm no Trades or obo. I would be willing to sell the Barreled action only(I'll remove it from the stock) without the Leupold Tactical Scope, Rings and the Atlas Bipod For $1975 Firm CASH/ no trades or obo for doing that. So if you have a 700 SA Stock and you were lookig to build a Rifle then this has all the work done so all you'd have to do is buy or use a stock or use one that you already have for a 700 SA and bolt this barreled action in and fix it up how you want. Thanks for looking.
  19. Back to the top for the weekend. I've lowered the price to $2450. Reasonable offers will be considered, please PM me them, don't post in the add. I've also changed it forsale/ Trades and they are listed. If your wanting to trade then my Trade Price is going to have to be $2700. Thanks for looking, remember reasonable offers will be considered.
  20. Thanks I appreciate it, it's been a long two years, but seems I'm making progress.
