  4. Glad it got worked out, it's a heck of a feeling when your standing there and a bunch of people are in the LGS and you get a pending, or denial answer. It's probably due to the name that's similar.
  5. Those look great, nice work.

    1911 grips

Their good grips, and for the price you can't go wrong. I personally like and use VZ Grips with their Super Scoop Thumb Cut. Here's a picture of a Les Baer UTC that I had at one time that I had completely redone in Charcoal Bluing and Blue Nitride accents, I put a set of VZ Carbon Fiber Grips on it you can see the larger thumb cut that allowed me to reach the mag release easier.
  7. Let's try this one more time. This is SPF for the second time, I hope this one goes through. I'll update it as soon as I receive the Payment first. Thanks TGO.
  8. The above statement is true, I used to help out at a couple of shops awhile ago. I had several buyers not put their ss# down and I tried to explain that it's 50% going to be pending/ possible denial and that usually happened.
  9. It wasn't a scammer, everything checked out. I believe they didn't have the extra cash for the purchase and made up an excuse, if that was the problem I would have worked with buyer and gave them two weeks to come up with it if they would have been honest at first instead of feeding me a bull crap text. But it is what it is, I've made deals on here to sell and buy $1000+ Items and never welched or made up an excuse to back out of them.
  10. What happened to me hasn't effected my thoughts and dealings on here, I just chalk it up to lesson learned. The only thing I was really upset was tearing apart the press at 5:30am and boxing it up, at least if it sells I won't have to worry about doing that. I will say this, I'll be cautious unless it's someone I've done business with in the past. I'm not knocking any new members because we were all new here at onetime. Thanks TGO.
  11. Well it finally happened to me. Had everything worked out with a new member who agreed to purchase my Dillon 750XL that I have listed. I emailed, then texted, and finally we had a phone conversation about it and set up a meet for me to deliver it to were they worked at and make the deal. Like a fool I tore it all down and boxed it up along with about $200 worth of extras that I was going to thow in to get them started. Got a text message from them saying they talked to a friend and they told them the 750XL wasn't a good press because it aouto indexes. I'm really disappointed in this, I've only had one bad transaction on here and that was like 8yrs ago. Just goes to show you that trying to be nice and help someone out doesn't always work out. This day in age there is no Integrity in people anymore, I've never backed out of a deal here even if what I was purchasing wasn't quite up to the description. Oh well, Live and Learn.
  12. I'm re-listing this one again, prior deal went south. You probably know the add already, but here we go again. Up Forsale is a new Dillon 750XL set up for 45acp. Has the Automatic Case Feeder, Numerous Upgrades, Led Lighting, and many others. I'm asking $1750 for the Press with Case Feeder, Redding Carbide Dies with a Micrometer Seating Die in 45acp. Mini Bullet Feeder(for 45acp only) I'll include the following items to get you started. 500 Cleaned Lg. Primer Brass, 500 LG Pistol Primers, 5 LG Primer Tubes( Dillon didn't include the SM Primer Tubes they gave me all LG.) Dillon 9mm Carbide Dies and Conversion Kit, 750XL Spare Parts Kit, Quick Powder Drain. I never purchased the 9mm Case Feeder Wheel for Small Brass, if you want to load 9mm you'll have to purchase it to use the Case Feeder for Small Pistol Brass, the Mini Bullet Feeder is manual you turn it by hand once one chamber is empty of the Bullets. It's 45acp only, if you would want it to work for 9mm you'll have to purchase that also. Please PM me any questions about it, it is all boxed up and ready to deliver or pickup at my residence. I live in the Whitehouse area but can meet in Goodlettsville,Hendersonville,Gallatin, Nashville area's to meet, willing to drive and meet half way if your further than Nashville area. Thanks for looking again.
  13. Well this one went south. Emailed potential buyer, then called and spoke to her about the 750XL and as we talked I told her I would throw enough stuff in that wasn't included to get started. We agreed on the price of $1750 CASH, and set up a meet for Sunday at 1pm to complete the transaction. I tore everything down and boxed up everything this morning only to get a text that said: "I talked to a friend that is a top reloader, he told me the 750XL is not a good press because it's aouto indexing unlike the 550 which is manual indexing and you can correct any problems if you make a mistake and you can't do that on the 750XL". This really p!$$'$ me off, especially when i went out of my way to add about $200 in extras for free, two reloading books, 1000 cleaned 45acp LG Brass, and 1000 LG Pistol Primers. I don't usually call a person out but this is just bad business as far as I'm concerned. Mods, I apologize for making this rant in my post so if I'm out of line just let me know. I'm going to make a new listing for the 750XL. Thanks TGO.
  14. This is SPF to Sandi.
  15. I've got no idea, but I would also like to know the outcome of this also. Knock on wood but I only got one denial about 8yrs ago and it was turned over the next day for approval, someone will be able to answer you if you talk to your FFL report back and let us know what they say. Good luck
  16. I sent you a PM
  17. Retract Comment.
  18. Try Blue Grass Liquor in Hendersonville, Red Carpet Liquor in Gallatin, and if you have a little time drive up to Franklin KY, or BowlingGreen KY. the exit before the Corvette Plant.
  19. I like it, that type of comp works great for what it is. I just sent three Bbl's off to a gunsmith for DLC Coating, two C Bbl's and my new CS Bbl., when I get them back I'll send the C2's Bbl. off for the same DLC. How do you like the SRO, I mounted one of those on one of my C's but haven't shot it yet to see if it causes any ejection problems, it looks in the pictures it's hanging way over the chamber than it is in person. Hand cycling it ejects okay.
  20. I had them do their Genghis Comp on one of my Staccato C's. I like it, don't know really what the difference is beyween the Chunk and Genghis Comp are, but they do great work. Never cared for Camouflaged Jobs on handguns, but yours is done just right and not over the top. Nice Staccato P, enjoy that one.
  21. If I had a dime for every time I heard that, I'd have about 10 750XL's listed here.
