  6. Here's a H&K USC 16" Bbl 45acp that I converted to a H&K UMP. You can see the progress info. and pics in the Show and Tell Section. I'll be honest and pics will show, the vent cuts did not come out great as I wanted, I cut them free handed the best I could. The rail sections cover them and you'd have to look close to see. Other than that it's good. $2250 Cash FTF with everything shown. I live in the Whitehouse area and can meet locally around Goodlettsville, Hendersonville, Gallatin and Nashville area but willing to drive a little to meet and complete the transaction. Parts List. H&K USC 45acp 16"Bbl Upper Reciever H&K Complete UMP Lower, H&K Rails, H&K UMP Mags. XS Front Night Sight, HOLOSUN 510 w/ Quick Detach Lever Folding Stock Adapter, UMP Stock H&K Carrying Case H&K UMP/USC Manual, Blackhawk Sling w/ H&K Style Hooks Any other questions or if you need some more pictures please PM me. Thanks for looking. Not looking for trades but would consider if it's something interesting, S&W Pre Lock Blued Revolvers, Springfield Armory, ED Brown, NightHawk 1911's, or other decent 1911's in 45ac, 9mm, 10mm, Staccato's 2011's (no Kimbers, nothing personal unless you have a 10mm) if I do decide to trade the trade value of this is $2500 taking in the fact that the Vent Cuts. This is ready to be turned into a SBR, all you need is a H&K 45acp Bbl. or a H&K 9mm/ 40cal Conversion Kit, all those parts can be found on HK PARTS were I purchased every part to put this together.
  7. This one needs a new home.
  8. To put Staccato and Glock in the same category, no way. I'll take my Staccato C and CS over a Glock anytime, I'd even consider NAA 22mag. over the Glock.
  9. It's a shame that it happens, I know first hand.
  10. The one piece mount that I bought seems well made and rugged. Badger isn't a bad brand either, I've used them on a few bolt guns. I looked at the Spurh mounts before I bought the NightHawk mount, but I just can't justify paying $575 for one. They seem extremely well made but I didn't see to much of a difference in the two, the NightHawk mount uses four torx bolts on top to mount the top pieces. The Spurh mount has a different system but it's basically the same method, now the Spurh mounts have mounting points made in due to the square design of the rings but on the inside of the rings they have a series of raised surface that they say aids in locking the scope down for a tighter fit but I think that could cause a little more damage to the tube if you over tourqed them.
  11. Buy this one and you'll have one for each hand. I'm only selling this one to possibly buy another older model .22lr.
  12. Let's put this one back up.
  13. I use to, but switched to my Staccato C DPO Single Stack, and my Staccato CS DPO double stack. I carried the P's in a MILT SPARKS CRITERION, and a TT GUNLEATHER IWB and sometimes in a Kydex LAS AIWB without a problem. Just need a good holster and the main key is a good sturdy gun belt it will make all the difference. It dosen't need to be super thick and definitely not flimsy. Either a good leather gun belt from a good maker, Nylon Kore belts or any similar maker of good nylon belt.
  14. Out of site out of mind. If you have a good concealment rig and don't screw with constantly by tugging to see if it's there. I take mine into banks, post office, and everywhere there isn't a metal detector. Those sings mean nothing to me, I carried daily before they even thought about carry permits here in TN. Then when they offered them I went and took the two day classes that you had to do.
  15. Haven't seen any in person, but have read some and seen some reviews. It looks good and from the price point seems good, especially if it will run properly with the glock mags once you'd break it in with 500rnds. to see. Regular 2011 mags. are $60++ and that can add up quickly because most manufacturers are shipping their guns with two mags. some only give you one, Staccato is now only shipping with two they said "To help with the cost" but that's hard to believe, and I owned seven at one time. I'm down to one C Single Stack but they discontinued that model so I was glad I bought 15mags from the dealer at a good price, I have the new CS Double Stack that takes mags. only made for that model cause they redesigned the grip, so if you own any of the other Staccato Double Stack guns the mags. won't work. So if the Platypus runs with the Glock Mags. then I can see it doing well because of that alone. I'd like to handle one myself and see how it feels. Sorry that's all I got on it.
  16. Back up, final price reduction to $700 cash FTF.
  17. It's mounted, took me awhile to get it right but at least my math was right on the mount height.
  18. Yeah but I feel it was worth it, and I did get a good deal on it.
  19. Thanks, I'll have to check them out.
  20. Back up for the weekend. NO TRADES
