  1. Here's a picture of the G36 Bolt held back on a empty mag. It functions like it should. These next two show how it looks put all together without the top rail installed. And here's the finished project with the rail installed. The next thing to do is get a set of sight then figure what type of scope to get. it was a fun project to do but it was a little pain in the a$$ but not bad. I learned alot about the HK G36 platform, and how simple the workings are in it. I may build a pistol version next with a 11.5" Bbl.
  2. Here's some more progress pictures. This one shows the Tommy Built AR Style MagWell Conversion installed. This is the Tommy Built AR Style Lower that I installed a Geissele SD-E Flat Trigger in. Works great the trigger breaks just around 4.5lbs compared to the 8lbs on the orginal SL8 trigger, reset is also great. And the Back Plate being installed.
  3. Got a new in the wrapper HK G36 15.5" Bbl with Gas Block, Bbl. Nut and Flash Hider attached. Also got a HK IDZ Adjustable Stock for it. Worked on getting the Bbl., Gas Piston and Stock installed. Wasn't bad just had to use my other work table and vice that is lower than my regular work bench. Got mounted and torqued down to HK's specs of 66ft#, I was a little hesitated about that many foot pounds, but after triple checking some sources to make sure that was right, I went on and tourqed it down. Then I installed the IDZ Adjustable Stock and gas piston, that's all for today tomorrow I should be able to finish it up.
  4. Got my Tommy Built Low Profile Rail and the Action Wrench and Bbl Nut Wrench in also. Waiting on the back plate and metal Bbl nut, then hopefully the new stock I ordered will be here. Just got to figure out what to do with the SL8-6 20" Bbl either have it cut down and threaded or try and find a G36 15.5" Bbl but they are expensive.
  5. Well I did some fitting this morning and got it mocked up so far. Still waiting a couple of parts to go ahead and finish this project. Just need a few things and then it's off for test firing. This has been a learning experience for sure, but fun.
  6. Got a SB5 Tactical G36 Receiver in yesterday, now to check fitment of the parts I have and do what fitting is needed for them to be installed on the new receiver. Bbl action wrench and Bbl nut removal tool's should be here today. Stay tuned if your interested in this project. Thanks.
  7. They aren't far from were I live at, never been there but I've been told he does a good job. From what I've seen it looks good. Nice job he did on yours.
  8. Why do the newbies always do this, it's not that hard to read the rules on posting forsale adds in the proper section. This is why I only deal with certain members on here, it seems evry week this crap happens. Good Grief Charlie Brown
  9. It's hard for me to trust any lawyer, especially one who has ten pounds of gold on his fingers, and $100,000 Rolex Watch. His clients probably wear a $10 Timex and wouldn't know a good settlement from a bad one.
  10. This one is SPM. Thanks TGO.
  11. Here's a clean Smith & Wesson 17-6 22cal 6" Full Lug Bbl. with Orginal Box Paperwork and Tools. This one has the Target Grips (not the Combat Finger Groove Grips) they are Orginal to the gun. $1050 CASH FTF. I live in the Whitehouse area and can meet locally around Goodlettsville,Hendersonville, Gallatin, and Nashville area for FTF Deal. I can drive to meet halfway to make the FTF Deal.
