Well I pit them on there and love em, but the pearce diamond grips with the finger groove inserts looks better. I dunno hard to decide.

Thanks guys. The pics really don't do it any justice. I was blown away when I finally got it all put together. The only think I will possibly do is send it to springfield for the 3 dot sights put on it. They do it for $65 and then ship it back. Night sights are $135 installed. Wish I could find someone local, but it has to be milled and had rather them do it than someone around here.

If ur going to continue on this forum then get "tapatalk" and also if you text alot get "Handcent" it's a very clean app and instead of manually opening the text app, handcent automatically open it up when u get a text

The droix X to me is the most versitle phone out there, even next to the Iphone. Pm and ask me some questions if you need too. I've had or have about every useful app out there. Would be glad to help ya in any way I could.

Ok so I bought a Springfield Armory 1911-A1 the other day, thought I might do some stuff to it. These pics will be in progress form. The day I bought it. After replacing the pearce grips with finger grooves, I put a hogue wrap around on it, and polished the barrel. I took the whole thing down to a slide and frame. My friend is painting it with some poly-ressin stuff (I will get the name later, you have to bake it on). Slide painted black, notice the difference in the painted slide and the parkerized frame. WOW. Also put a Wilson Combat 3 hole match trigger in it. Then lets go with some OD green for the frame to make it two-tone. The pic actually looks different then it does in person Thats it for now. I will post more pics as we go along should be done tomorrow or so. I changed the standard spur hammer with a stainless commander hammer. I changed the factory grip safety, with a Wilson Combat Beavertail grip safety. I'm going to paint the thumb safety, slide catch, and beavertail grip safety black to make the OD really stand out.

Hey guys I saw in a local law enforcement/duty gear shop they had Nebo weapon lights, puts out 220 lumens. I have a small nebo light comparable in size to the stinger small size and really like it. It has 3 different brightness setting plus a strobe setting. Just curious to see if anyone has one or heard of them, fit, finish, etc. Thanks

Fallguy, if we have a private range we fall under different rule there dont we? The way I read it, it states you have to be affliated with a police force for public and for private all we have to have is the NRA courses, am I correct. I have read the whole thing multiple times, just making sure Im reading it correctly.
