  1. I'm pretty sure its state law that the address on your ID must match what you write on the form. Apparently its a federal law, I stand corrected. Also, if you update your address w/ the state online, you can print out a form showing the pending address change.

    Glad you enjoyed it...
  3. FWIW, My girlfriend wasn't offended and commented that out of the 3 videos, more men than women caused the accidental shootings. I wouldn't have posted the private message, but that's just me...
  4. They said some of the ammo was .22lr, but didn't specify how much. 30,000 rounds of .22 would only be about 55 bricks. At $14 a brick, that is still under $800. It kind of reminds me of the shooter in AL who had an "arsenal" consisting of 2 rifles and a box of 500 .22lr bullets! Oh my...!!!!
  5. I'd shoot it...
  6. I assume you will go with the GSAR (automatic)? If you prefer the TSAR, it is just like the GSAR, but with a quartz movement. Still an excellent buy...no matter which movement you choose! (Sorry for the bad pic and dirty watch...it needs a good cleaning!) Oh yea, I think this watch is worth the money for the lume alone! The tritium looks incredible at night...
  7. I would highly recommend the GSAR or SAR if you ever have the chance to own one. It seems like the price of them keeps going up. I had a SAR, which I regrettably sold, that I purchased from County Comm and they were great to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again. They also sell a bunch of interesting "tactical knicknacks" if you are into that sort of thing.
  8. Thanks...also read the release I just posted. It is pretty interesting. The seller I purchased it from was in the armed forces, which would make sense and I have removed the case back and checked everything out. I'm also not too worried about service as I know of several individuals who service Marathons. If this is a fake, someone spent way too much time trying to replicate it, including using the correct movement and engraving the correct corresponding CAGE and NRC ID # on the back. Yes, it's possible, but I'm pretty comfortable that it is legit. Anyways, it has been going strong for a couple years, so I am happy. But I agree with you, there are way too many fake "big name" brands out there...buyer beware, especially these days when everyone is trying to get a good deal or make a quick dishonest buck.
  9. Considering there was a limited run of the no Serial number or contract dated GSARs, I'm not sure how they are "all over Houston." Also, there are things you can ask a seller or specific things to look for to verify authenticity. Buy from a trusted seller and there should be no issues (knock on wood). Obviously, if it is a $100 Daytona and the seller has 85% feedback, it is likely fake. Just use some common sense. http://www.countycomm.com/announcement.htm
  10. Some of the daily rotation...G-Shock Mudman, Invicta 2247 beater, Breitling SuperOcean, Hamilton Khaki Auto, Seiko Orange Monster, Seiko 007, Seiko Atlas, Accutron VX-200, Marathon GSAR, Invicta S1, Black Monster
  11. On the other hand, you can score some excellent deals on eBay if you know what you are looking for and are an educated buyer. I paid right around $300 for my GSAR w/o serial #, which is a great price. However, I have a couple jewelry guys that I stick to for higher end stuff like Breitling, Omega and Rolex...unless it is an out of this world deal or rare find and I know it is authentic. Watchuseek.com also has an extensive classifieds section to peruse. I;m sure a lot of you guys know about that site though.
  12. Well, they HAD .380 until I bought all 20 boxes. Time to hit up GunBroker now! J/K...I only bought 2 boxes and they still had quite a bit as of 8:30. It was Winchester FMJ for $18/box. Also, they had tons of personal protection and target 9mm and .40 ammo. Hopefully some people who actually NEED .380 will pick it up instead of resellers.
  13. I'm just waiting for Pirates 2 to go on sale! $60...c'mon! Lemme use a coupon!
  14. This is probably my next purchase... Doxa Military Sharkhunter 1000T Sharkhunter SUB 1000T Military Edition by DOXA Watches |
  15. You've been here 2 years and that's the best you could come up with? Weak!
  16. My dad has almost walked out of RR w/ a Patek as well...Bobby is a great guy to deal with!
  17. My girlfriend and I *may* show up if the day allows it. We have some other engagements in Nashville, but may be able to get out and make some noise for a bit. I'll definitely bring my converted Saiga, AR and yet to be shot P22 to try out.
  18. x2 Or EJ Sain in Green Hills...nice family owned place that will make you feel comfortable. Also, Rone Regency in Chattanooga...ask for Bobby, he's the owner and will treat you right.
  19. Same here...on the stainless bracelet of course. Mine is one of the "rare" ones that doesn't have a serial #. Picked it up from a guy on eBay who had it advertised as a TSAR. The pics of the caseback clearly showed that is was a GSAR.
  20. LOL...reserved for pics as well.
  21. I'm still confused. Why did you give the guy more money? If he had a wife and 2 teenagers, that just means 3 more possible sources of income, which are probably sitting at home leeching off the system. Were all 4 of them disabled or something?
  22. Skip's in Ooltewah also offers HCP classes... http://www.skipsfirearms.com
  23. Nice, but it looks like their holsters are around $60 + $10 for horsehide backing, which I believe the MTAC comes standard with for $80. Also, are clips included...I don't see any pictured on the Mason Dixon, but do on the Ghost...what is the difference anyways in those 2 holsters? Anyways, its nice to have another option, but I don't think the price is THAT much cheaper. Plus, you can get various colors of clips with the MTAC if that's important to you...I only see black loops on this site.
  24. I ordered my Del-ton kit back before the run on guns and ammo. They were very helpful and even substituted a chrome-lined barrel so I wouldn't have to wait a while for the standard barrels to come in stock. The kit has been flawless and everything went together smoothly. Two thumbs up!
