  1. Just saw these two on the news... Deluxe Grill & Tap (worried about his insurance rates) Big Chill
  2. "We just don't have the manpower..." It is painful to watch him talk in this video (he doesn't seem very educated), but wait for the closing line. IMO, he essentially admits that police can't be everywhere at once. Chattanooga Times Free Press | Video: Debating the ?guns-in-bars? bill
  3. Never understood the pistol grip, but the rest looks good...
  4. I thought this was a great Opinion piece on the Chattanoogan website. Roy always seems to be the voice of reason. 6/2/2009 - Roy Exum: Guns & Preachers - Opinion - Chattanoogan.com ...and apparently this reader does not. http://chattanoogan.com/articles/article_152445.asp
  5. I love my Nikon ProStaff Rimfire 4x32...have it mounted on the same gun.
  6. Yea, no issues with the Speers. I also have some Golden Sabers, Hornady TAP and Winchester Bonded PDX1 to try out, although Gold Dots are usually my ammo of choice and I have the most of it on hand.
  7. LOL, I was so in love with the CW9, that I was about to e-mail RW to inquire about the CW45 that he offered up earlier. Then I saw you beat me to it!
  8. I actually like how the mag is not flush. My pinkie fits in there perfectly with no need for a Pearce extension. (Anyone need any Pearce extensions? I have two that I purchased awhile back in anticipation...) I know Kahr makes the 6 round mags, but I thought I remember reading that they were actually too short. Don't take that as fact though.
  9. I got this from Rep. Floyd... Kind of a vague response, but I have read in countless news articles here in town that he will be voting for the override. I still haven't heard anything back from Sen. Berke (no surprise there as he is an anti-2A ).
  10. I have been looking for one of these for awhile and was finally able to purchase one from paincave_2000. It was nice to meet you and thanks for meeting me in Winchester! The first thing I did after purchasing it was head to the range. I put close to 150 FMJ rounds through it and a box of 50 Speer Gold Dot 124 gr. +P. I had absolutely no issues with it whatsoever and it fits my hand perfectly. I have been carrying it for the past 2 days and currently have it in a MTAC holster, which is super comfy. I am debating trimming off some of the excess leather on the bottom, which is there to accomodate longer guns since the Kydex bodies are interchangeable. I also have a Comp-tac Infidel on order, which will allow me a quicker option to "grab and go." The grip sleeve is a Hogue Handall Jr. and really makes a difference in the overall comfort. The stock grip isn't bad, but the Hogue just allows your hand to better mold to the grip. Two thumbs up!
  11. Sorry, I got your reply now...long day.
  12. Managed to find 12 boxes of Federal AutoMatch .22 white box in Huntsville. The stores there have also been getting in Federal bricks and Golden Bullet pretty regularly...
  13. I was talking about the comments section and how many people think this bill would let permit holders consume alcohol while carrying.
  14. Good debate going here about HB0962. It is amazing how so many people are mis-informed about what this bill is really asking for. Chattanooga Times Free Press | Tennessee: Clergy say gun bill wins no religious rights
  15. I picked up this G2 LED and Vikings Tactical (VTAC) flashlight mount at Hero Gear over the weekend for well under $100 for the pair. Since the DD Omega rail I have is skinnier, the flashlight rests almost right up against the Grip Pod, which puts it in a perfect location for my left thumb to engage it. I couldn't have asked for a better fit. I am also surprised how securely the mount attaches to the rail, as well as how tight it holds the light. The real test will be to see how well it holds up after a few hundred rounds. I have read a lot of reviews on other sites and everyone had positive things to say about the mount. Anyways, I just wanted to share this inexpensive light set-up in case anyone is in the market for one. It should serve me well for an upcoming carbine class and also occasional HD duty.
  16. I LOL'ed at the PM and public response. Both of you two need to out...
  17. No I have not...what do you suggest?
  18. Just contacted Floyd and Berke (who initially voted no).
  19. What was on me today... -Keys -Cheap River Rock (from Target) LED flashlight -Kershaw Chive -Ultra tactical aluminum pen (FREEBIE) -Marathon GSAR -Wallet -442 in AHolster w/ speed loader (not pictured)
  20. I skimmed right over that...kind of crazy!
  21. IMO, this is a pretty fair article written on the subject. Bredesen Vetoes "Guns In Bars" Bill | Humphrey on the Hill | knoxnews.com
  22. Don't worry, the gang members won't be armed. After all, it is against the law.
  23. What do the actions of the young sheriff express?
  24. I grilled a BBQ marinaded pork tenderloin, while my fiance made some kind of potato casserole, fresh green beans and homemade yeast rolls.
  25. ...despite what the state decides. Mayor Says No Guns In City Parks | city, guns, mayor - Local News - WTVC NewsChannel 9: Chattanooga News, Weather, Radar, Sports, Lottery There is also a poll on News Channel 9's home page concerning the same issue. The news story had the same arguments as usual "innocent kids may be shot, etc."
