  2. Yes, they were top notch. I got my TSAR from them, a bracelet and my dad purchased a SAR from them. My GSAR came from eBay (a risk I was willing to take) I've also bought some of their little odds and ends and have always been satisfied. Look around before buying, they have some pretty cool bags and survival gear! Also, if you want to save a bit of money and don't mind used, you can always try the forums on Watchuseek.com | Watch Forums | On-line Watch Shopping | Horloges | Uhren | Montres | Orologio | Relojes | Relogios. I know we talked about the possibility of fakes in the past, but most of those guys on there are watch-nuts and sell "no BS", authentic pieces. I don't think you can go wrong either way. I still need to purchase a US Seal clasp for my bracelet from CC and ditch the maple leaf.
  3. I know...I didn't mention the TSAR, which is the quartz w/ Tritium markers. Here is the SAR (optional date cyclops is also available)... ...and GSAR (US Gov markings on face also available). Marathon also makes a CSAR (chronograph) and JSAR (jumbo version)...
  4. RIP Shifty...you, along with every member of our armed forces are more of a hero than any celebrity will ever be.
  5. I found it easiest for me to use my middle finger to depress the mag release. I think they also make some larger buttons which make locating the release easier w/o laying eyes on it.

    CZ P07

I still can't get around the enormous trigger guard...maybe it isn't so bad in person.
  7. They also have a Spring Hill location and Joey's brother owns the pizza joint in the Arcade downtown.
  8. Yea, the GSARs are bit more than the SARs due to the tritium...also adding a stainless bracelet adds $175 or so, assuming you buy it new through CountyComm, etc.

    Job leads?

I got an e-mail today that VW is still hiring people with Master's degrees or greater in Engineering, HR and Purchasing. Not sure how hiring is going w/ the hourly jobs, but I'm sure they have been overwhelmed with applications.

    TGO shirts

I saw JC's yesterday and they are definitely sharp! I'm down for one and them being made to order is no problem. I don't blame you for not wanting to try to stock sizes and deal w/ people not following through. BTW, the subdued logo hat turned out great!
  11. Joey's in Brentwood...I haven't found anything that compares in Chattanooga.
  12. Thanks for your support and showing up...unfortunately I wasn't able to make it. No surprises with the outcome though...
  13. Here is a nice opinion piece from a member of the Signal Mtn. Parks Board that was on the Chattanoogan website today. 7/13/2009 - Don't Restrict Our Rights To Protect Ourselves And Family - Opinion - Chattanoogan.com
  14. Not yet, although one is on the list.
  15. I read most of it while sitting on the beach over the weekend and should finish it up tonight. It is great reading and extremely difficult to put down!
  16. Based on that I'm going to have to start asking...I usually just glance on the shelves. That Federal AutoMatch is great stuff for semi-autos...I've never had a FTF in my P22.
  17. They do lack a bit of manliness and feel like a dress watch. I'm a big fan of chunky divers, so a Daytona would definitely be the oddball in the collection, but I still think they're kind of cool and wouldn't turn one down. If you do get the Deepsea...I'd like to check it out sometime.
  18. According to Kahr, "thin is sexy" so you aren't giving up too much sex appeal w/ the CW40. I know my CW9 is quite popular w/ the ladies...
  19. Looks like a hippie designed it...
  20. n/m...didn't look at the dial markers.
  21. That's nice, but I'd go for the Daytona...
  22. Not true, unless the shipper specifies this on their account. After the 3rd attempt it is held for a week at the hub...then shipped back.
  23. Make sure to sign up for their "So connected" e-mail list. I get buy one get 1 free entree coupons every month...
  24. Wasn't me...so who here got something new?
  25. Do you have any info on these falls? I'm always looking for new waterfalls in TN to hike to and photograph.
