  1. I've shot a bunch through my Del-ton kit w/ no issues to date...
  2. Glad I got in on a few boxes of Federal HST in .45 while ATG had it in stock. It cycles awesome in my RIA compact.
  3. +1 to Safety South...they go beyond the normal HCP class requirements and the overall experience was really enjoyable. The price is hard to beat as well.
  4. Yes it is...I did not notice any marks after removing it after being clamped down. Will re-evaluate condition after a couple loads are fired to see if it is moving around any. This gun isn't a show piece, so I'm not too terribly worried about the finish anyways.
  5. Here is the mount I ended up getting off eBay to try for $4. I would have rather mounted it to the magazine tube, but the OD was a bit too big for this mount, which could easily be remedied by adding some longer bolts. For now the mount fits perfectly on the barrel and snugs down very tight. Seems to hold my Streamlight on there securely and the switch is easily accessible while holding the forend. Obviously not the most glamorous choice, but hopefully I can take it to the range sometime to see how it handles the recoil.
  6. I bought a bunch of the 124gr 9mm and it shoots fine out of my M&P.

    AK Ammo

I just paid $220 for 1000 rds. shipped from Sportsmans Guide (still expensive compared to last year). Don't fall for that CTD fear mongering crap.
  8. Another reason not to list your phone #...keep it to e-mail until you get a good feeling.
  9. Sportsman's Guide just got a shipment of 7.62x39 Barnaul in, but it is not yet listed on their website. Here is the product info and number to call to order. WX2-136734 500rd 7.62x39 123gr Fmj Ammo (800)888-5222 There are also $10 off coupon codes floating around online (Google is your friend)...
  10. Because the mere mention of the phrase "AK47" in a public place causes people to turn their heads and give you crazy looks.
  11. I've shot probably 200 rounds of steel-cased 9mm (Monarch/Barnaul) through my M&P and haven't had any issues. It definitely gets dirtier quicker, but no extraction or jamming issues.
  12. Charleston, SC Wilmington, NC Savannah, GA
  13. That's their old price...they haven't had them in stock for a long time.
  14. Sure thing, its the forum right below Member Introductions. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=23 Enjoy your stay!
  15. Beats the $689 one I saw at the Smyrna show this weekend. FWIW, I paid $280 mid-last year.
  16. Welcome! Keep watching the Gatherings & Events sub-forum for upcoming Chattanooga meet & shoots.
  17. Aguila @ ATG or Blazer Brass at Walmart. I picked up a case of .45 Blazer Brass the other day at WM. They had plenty more on the shelf as well and stock seems to be holding steady as of recently.
  18. The WM in Franklin has imposed a 3 box per SKU limit on ammo. I'm not sure all clerks enforce it as a guy in front of me bought 40 bricks of Federal .22lr.
  19. I found one M1A Scout w/ walnut, but the price was around $1900 + tax. I passed on that...other than that, ammo prices were through the roof and I could hardly walk around in there. NOt as much non-gun stuff as I was expecting. Overall, plenty to look at, but I did not shell out any $ aside from admission.
  20. The first rule is don't call...

    What a Day!!!

Sounds like what this Saturday is gonna be like for me + the Smyrna gun show. I will go to bed on Saturday with something to shoot all this RG .308 out of!

    What a Day!!!

    I wish a 150 round drum for .22lr was possible...and affordable!
  23. I plan on stopping by...I don't really need anything, but you never know what you'll find.
  24. That's why I've been sticking to Blazer Brass...if I shoot this at the range I usually only put a few mags through it and go back to shooting the 9. If .45 gets anymore expensive, I'm not sure how I'll manage. Of course, when compared to good .223 brass, .45 is still cheaper. I still wouldn't mind a Sig chambered in .22lr.
