  1. We are going to be setting up next Thursday, 17 April, starting about 3:30.  Come on out and help - it will also give you a heads up on the stages and a chance for some early stage planning.  Any and all help greatly appreciated.
  2. The stages for the ORSA 19 April USPSA match are up on our facebook.com/orsa-uspsa page.  The Match this month is Agent 86 - Maxwell Smart Special.  I expect to hear "I missed it by that much" frequently.   Shooting starts at 10 AM, please be at the range no later than 930 for registration/shooters briefing.  Look forward to seeing you at the range - trenchcoats optional.
  3. It was a great match - and PERFECT weather, as promised.  Scores are up at https://practiscore.com/results/?uuid=05AECD43-4C2C-4D4C-A4BE-C24A4D0F09D4
  4. The stages are up at our facebook page - facebook.com/ORSA-uspsa   Weather is going to be great.  Stages are awesome.  No reason not to be there.. Come and join the guaranteed fun.   Details - Match is March 15th, the Ides of March, of course.
  5. We will be hosting a USPSA classifier match this Saturday, 22 Feb.  There will be six stages/classifiers.  We start shooting at 10 AM.  We should have time for a second squadding so you will have the opportunity to shoot it twice (in different divisions).  Cost for the first gun will be $15 for ORSA members, $20 for non-ORSA members.  Cost for Second gun - $15 for everyone.  See more details at  facebook.com/orsa-uspsa.
  6. The scores are up at: www.practiscore.com. Click on the "match results" tab in the upper right corner, do a search for ORSA and then click on the ORSA Valentines Day Match. Or you can just hit this link: https://practiscore.com/results/?uuid=8d2f5a77-f2d5-4ced-815e-d9ff545764d1 Need to send a out a BIG THANK YOU to Robert Garrett for getting the Nooks set up for the match and helping us to navigate these new waters.  Thank You Robert!
  7. Rule Book?  We shooting USPSA.
  8. Vonore is in Monroe County.  Pretty countryside and it does not take long to get pretty remote.  You would be about 60 minutes from ORSA, a great shooting facility with weekly competitions.  Also a sporting clays facility is fairly close.  East Tennessee is the place to be.  I have lived in Nashville/Middle Tennessee and now live in East TN.  The shooting (esp at ORSA) competitions and golf is much better here than Nashville.
  9. We will be setting this Thursday, starting about noon.  Any and all help greatly appreciated.
  10. Once again, the weathered is going to be perfect.
  11. No pre-registration at this time.  I am hoping to beta-test practiscore this month, if all works well, we may go to on-line pre-registration/squadding for March.
  12. The perfect after Valentine's Day date - shooting the USPSA Match at ORSA on 15 Feb.  Gunsmoke and romance will fill the air.  Stages are posted at facebook.com/Orsa-uspsa.  Come on out and have a blast.  Guaranteed to be fun (you are on your own regarding the romance).
  13. ORSA will be hosting a USPSA classifier match on 22 Feb (in addition to our regular monthly match on 15 Feb).  For more details, go to Facebook.com/Orsa-uspsa
  14. Hey, at least it was a warm rain.  The forecast was close - my house is about 15 miles from the range and we got zero rain until 4 PM.  Anyway, we survived.   BTW, scores are up at facebook.com/Orsa-uspsa.  Let me know if there are any errors so I can correct them prior to uploading the results to USPSA later this year.
  15. Stages are set and should be a lot of fun.  Choices, challenges, accuracy, and hosing - a merry mix for everyone.  Come and join the holiday cheer.
  16. Weather is going to be GREAT!  upper 60's, rain is going to hold off until we are done.  No reason not to show up.  Also, we will be setting up Thursday afternoon starting about 1230-1.  Any and all help appreciated.
  17. The stages for the December match are up on our facebook page - facebook.com/orsa-uspsa. About 135 rounds, guaranteed to be lots of fun.
  18. Congratulations Norma.  You represented us well.
  19. IDPA matches pretty much dictate how a stage is to be shoot, there is zero creativity allowed; whereas in USPSA you can be creative and try to develop the best plan for you to shoot the stage.  I won't go into the goofy/subjective rules IDPA has regarding reloads and cover.
  20. We shoot IDPA on the first Saturday of every month, the next IDPA match is 7 December.   We shoot USPSA on the third Saturday of every month, the next USPSA match is 21 December.   Go to Facebook.com/ORSA-uspsa to get details about upcoming matches.
  21. The stages are up at:    facebook.com/orsa-uspsa for our 16 November Match.  The weather is going to be great, come on out for a fun challenging match.       We will be setting up starting about 0930 on Thursday,  any and all help greatly appreciated.
  22. Scores are up at http://orsaap.com/uspsascorefiles/October192013.pdf   Please let me know ASAP if there are any errors regarding spelling/USPSA numbers.  I will be uploading to USPSA Tuesday and do not want to have any corrections after it is submitted.
  23. For our Veterans Appreciation Match, all veterans and active duty personnel will shoot our match for free.  Stages will be posted soon.
  24. Found some prescription glasses in a black case after the match.  PM me if yours.
