Just picked up a set from Lowes , nice and rubbery , I think these will work fine ! I am going to drill the center hole a little larger.

I am wanting to remove 1 or 2 hiders , they are not pinned or welded. I have receiver vices but from what I have read on the interweb I am afraid I might damage the upper or barrel if I don't buy barrel vises or cut some wood.   What is the general consensus here ?

 You mean the lower cut the smooth front part of the screw ?

  I don't think the bolt catch should have ever touched your threads , they are on the outside of the entering screw itself.

So if you have a ported barrel , or a compensated extended barrel , what barrel is safe to look over the end of while firing ? :stalk:    The answer must be NONE OF THE ABOVE ?

Had a prob getting my bolt catch screws in on both my bolt catch's , the lower parts kits were from PSA. I had to very carefully widen the hole in the bolt catch , not a real problem , just thought I might share ; also not a problem with the lower itself , just the parts kit. Otherwise both lowers are complete , the .300 BLK and the other is an undisclosed Xmas present , can't post here.

Could be HIPA , we are listening though.
