    I have one of those rifles my grandfather gave me after he passed , I can kinda wiggle the bolt but cannot for the life of me get it to open. Is there some secret button to push ?

    Yes , the CCI ammo will help in the break in of the recoil spring and friction of the new slide. After a few hundred rounds most premium ammo will give no probs.

    Pull the trigger with the safety ON , it will de-cock. Didn't know the newer models were shipping with 2 mags, is it a P22 Q ?

    How old is it ? Use CCI Mini-Mags It has a magazine dis-connect and will not fire with the mag removed.

    The American Rifle does look nice , I was reading some reviews on it the other day. Outside of a . 22 I do not own any bolt guns.
