    Rifle Case

As I draw near finishing my AR-15 build, I realize that I don't have anywhere to put them. Can anyone recommend a good rifle case? I will be buying a dedicated .22LR AR as well so if it can fit 2 rifles pretty snugly, that's a big plus.
  2. Nice. I've got mine but I still haven't even gotten all the parts in for mine.
  3. I know it's steel cased ammo but anyone shot this stuff. I'm going to have to buy some to break in my AR but brass cased ammo is a bit expensive without any good deals going on. I saw this stuff with an ammo case for cheap and it will just be for target plinking to align my sight and get a good feel for my AR. I'll buy Federal 5.56 later on with the green tips and steel core but is this good for practice?
  4. Okay...I just feel it's important to point out the following piece of information: So what you guys mean to say is that this organization is spreading a lie.... Not actually from the President....
  5. Cabelas sorta...they normally have 2100 or so rounds of .22LR for $60 or $70 with an ammo can. Walmart has the 550 round boxes of Federal for $18.97. I haven't seen the Winchester Boxes of 555 rounds but that stuff is dirty compared to the Federal box.
  6. It's still $10 cheaper before shipping If you're like me, that extra $10 can buy some ammo!
  7. Sad that happened. People need to grow up. Glad your kid is safe though.
  8. Botachtactical and Joebob's had the cheapest prices when I bought mine. Call Botach and see if they have them in stock before ordering and then use "slickmag" to get 20% off. JoeBob had his on sale for $75 once and not sure if they are still on sale.
  9. He has like 1 more gun that I do.... Edit: I take that back...I have more guns than he does...that's a scope and not a gun.
  10. Yeah nysos and I were talking about that earlier but they were closed. If they can beat $120 for it, I'm all in It's the AIM Sports model rifle length. It's about 12.5 inches. I just don't know what kind of gas block will fit this sucker. The YHM Low Profile Gas Block is just slightly too big.
  11. Why is this available?
  12. Thanks for the responses. I inadvertently answered my own question. One thing, just because a quad rail is cost effective and does the job doesn't mean it will work. Apparently before I can even speculate on the functionality of this one, I discovered it can't even fit my low profile gas block. So it's going to be sold and I'm just going to go ahead and get a YHM Diamond rail that comes with a nut and I have a spare nut now
  13. I've purchased this item http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/ar-15-05/upper-parts/parts/ar-15-barrel-nut.html But now that I'm looking at videos on people installing free floating quad rails, theirs all look different. My quad rail didn't come with a nut. Now this nut looks like the ones in the videos. http://www.joeboboutfitters.com/Yankee_Hill_Barrel_Nut_p/yhm-9483.htm Do I need to buy this one instead?
  14. Gotta find someone to blame. So...he leaves his LOADED gun somewhere where his 3 year old can get it and blames the gun manufacturer. I think this is the real story:

http://www.weaponevo...rged-vs.-billet http://www.ar15.com/...vs__Billet.html From what I've seen so far in these threads, it's mostly looks. So about how long do you really plan on gazing at your rifle intently thinking...you're a sexy lower receiver...
  18. Gotcha. http://458socomforums.com/index.php?topic=643.0
  19. Go to Coal Creek and try shooting the P229, G23, M&P40c, XD Compact, etc.

    TEENAGER KILLS 8

As are forks. http://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/article/Bizarre-stabbing-deaths-probed-Barbecue-fork-2917395.php http://www.seattlepi.com/local/article/Seattle-man-who-killed-wife-with-BBQ-fork-1305846.php http://www.wsbtv.com/news/news/man-admits-killing-neighbor-with-knife-fork/nFCQN/ I demand limits on the amount of forks one person can buy at a time and there must be a 10 day waiting period!
  21. 3 Stripped lowers?? Are you going to try out the NFA Polymer Lowers?
  22. Here in Knoxville the Walmart on Clinton Hwy sells them in both the Critical Defense and Zombie Max boxes.
  23. I'm ordering another buddy to go with that other barrel
  24. http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/ar-15-05/upper-parts/upper-receivers/stripped-blemished-ar-15-upper-receiver.html?utm_source=Blem+Uppers&utm_campaign=Constant+Contact&utm_medium=email Not bad at all considering I payed $80 for a complete BCM blemished upper receiver.
  25. I can't remember off the top of my head but I do know that it's legally binding in either KY or OH and not in the other. I wanna say in KY it's not legally binding but it is in OH. Edit: Yeah, it's not legally binding in KY. I remember now because I saw something funny in OH. The Police Stations and Fire Departments had to be posted. So they took some freaking poster board and hung it in the main entrance windows. It had a giant gunbuster sign on it along with actual proper verbiage. It was actually the greatest thing I've seen. If you miss that and walk inside, you really deserve that misdemeanor.
