1. A couple years ago I put together small medkits for everyone's cars. CRKT Eat'N tools will be a stocking stuffer this year.
2. I am a self admitted Wisconsin homer, but I did not expect the beat down they're giving Nebraska.
3. Hopefully this link works: https://plus.google.com/106092636792835951689/about?gl=us&hl=en If not, search coordinates 36.210624,-87.105796 2-3 25yd lanes, 4 50yd lanes, and 4-5 100yd lanes I usually found it deserted weekdays after work. I've heard some horror stories about safety issues on weekends, but have never seen anything in person.
4. I started shooting IDPA last year and was amazed how easy it was to get started. I would recommend looking through the rulebooks (IDPA) (USPSA) and bring your gear to a match even if you intend to watch. If you're like me, you'll see the stages and register on the spot.
5. Thanks to everyone who has served. God bless our veterans!
6. Welcome to TGO! Are you ever over at the Cheatham TWRA range? I work in Ashland City so used to shoot there after work before the time change.
7. I might have to check out the Old Faithful kits. I've been happy with my Crossbreed Supertuck. I just ordered a Concealment Solutions leather/kydex hybrid for comparison since it gets pimped on a podcast I listen to.
8. I have some 185 and 200 gr SWC and 230 RN moly coated from Bayou Bullets to test in my 1911. It might be couple weeks since I can't shoot after work with the time change, but I'll post what I find on POI shift. To echo Dolomite I've had good luck with alox to prevent leading.
9. Definitely interested as well
10. CZ75 hands down
11. I have mounted mine on all kinds of things and am always impressed by the clarity of picture. My only complaint is that it is a bit heavy/bulky when mounting to a helmet/hat. For those of you who use one shooting do you use a hat or chest mount or something else?
12. 124gr +P Gold Dots They function great in my P01 and I've got enough I can practice with them every few range sessions.
13. It seems I picked a good time to move back to TN. I'm working from my phone today so have limited access to the MCTS website...is the membership form on there or is that something I can fill out at the match?
14. This is one of my favorite drills.
15. I was a freshman in highschool. I walked out of a class and into the library where the librarian had a tv on. I couldn't have been watching for more than a minute before the second plane hit the south tower. My parents pulled me out of school since it wasn't far from Wright-Patt AFB and spent most of the day glued to the tv with our neighbors.
16. TWRA Cheatham County range out in Ashland City
17. I had a great time as well. Thanks to everyone who put the match together!
18. I started watching the first season of The Walking Dead to get ready.
19. I'm looking forward to trying the Texas stars.
20. Nothing notable in mine except a couple women wearing v necks doing the hot brass dance.
21. I drove my Suby WRX on tail of the dragon a couple summers ago on a trip from Chicago to Myrtle Beach. Now that I've moved to TN, I'll have to make a trip over again.
22. I have a CZ P01 that I frequently shoot with a 22lr conversion kit. The 22lr slide has taller (7.5mm vs 5.5mm) sights so it doesn't fit in my regular holsters. Does anyone know of a Nashville area holster maker that would work with me to fab up something? Thanks, A.O.
23. It was a pleasure shooting with everyone again. Looking at the last 2 matches, I think I prefer rain over heat.
