Nice shot on the squirrel. What most people who do not shoot a bow realize, is that with practice it is ten times more accurate at a fixed distance than a rifle when shooting off hand. At least that is my experience.

Agreed, saw a TV show about CCI and how they make 22 ammo. They alone put out millions of rounds per day.

Went yesterday. Did not seem too bad, however I may just be getting use to the "new normal".

You are allowed to buy a crate and sell off what you don't want but you there is a fine line you had better not cross on how to do it. I believe if you buy the crate and already have half of them sold beforehand you are breaking the law, rather they are going to C&R holders or not.

I used the blocking bar in mine. Also I had an extra barrel and shroud I picked up from a Powell Auction (if you can believe that) so I added 4" of that barrel and drilled it out to "7/16, I then cut and added another section of shroud leaving the same distance between the slots. This gets me to a "16 barrel and looks like it came it that way originally so I don't have to worry about the SBR issue.

I am in the middle of an M31 (Finnish version of the KP-31)build right now. I welded my receiver back together instead of using an 80%. Am getting ready to start to figure out the striker and firing pin next. Been a fun project and a helluva of lot more complicated that an AK build. Was yours a TNW kit?

Was at Wal-Mart in Halls around no0n and they had 12 100ct boxes of CCI mini mags on the shelf for 7.97 a box. Could not believe it was there that late in the day and even better yet I left all 12 boxes there. For the first time in a long time I just didn't feel the need to buy any and it was also the first time since early January I have seen any 22 for sale that wasn't at a gun show.

Still waiting on mine. Sent it in back in March. I did get an extension letter in an email good for 6 months.

Even if you could find out what the components were by dissecting one cartridge that still would not be good enough. Are you willing to take a chance that whoever did the reloading has enough quality control to insure that they were all done the same way. There is a reason it is against the law to sell reloads without the proper licensing.

I am sure most everybody will tell you the same thing, when it comes to reloads NEVER use anybodys but your own, NEVER!!

Buffalo Springs is a short drive away and easy to wade. You can start at the falls and go down or start down and wade back up to the falls. You just have to be there on Friday afternoon or Saturday morning when it gets stocked as the local "corn" fisherman pull em out as fast as TWRA puts them in.

Now I am scared to ask. Cant imagine there is a problem with my background. Have never failed one even did a transfer last week for a gun I bought with no problem. When I asked last time I called they said they were just running behind. But after seeing how the rest are getting theirs backs in a couple of weeks I am wondering if something else is going on I am not aware of.

Luckier than me, I have been waiting for over 3 months. Check was cashed in a few weeks. Have called twice and they have told me they are way behind on background checks and emailed me a 6 month extension letter. I don't what is going on.

I know I've stopped looking. When this first broke I was panicked like everyone else. Now reality has set in and I figure what I already have on hand will last quite a while so I don't even look anymore. As soon as everyone else wakes up and realizes the sky is not falling they will come to their senses as well.

People believe anything they read on the internet, which is at least half the reason we are in the situation we are now.
