  1. Heck, you could part the K98 out and probaly double your money.
  2. Did you look at the Norinco. Condition, matching, price?
  3. I paid 130.00 for my T-53 and it is pretty beat up. They are pretty rare in good shape so the 149.00 is a good price, if it is matching numbered that would be a great price. 99.00 is about right for beat up.
  4. I guess it is going to be the end of 150.00 M44's when word travels that they sold out this quick. Pat Burns had a neet Hungarian one they put on sale for 129.00 earlier in the week I pondered for a day rather to buy it and passed. Kind of wished I did buy it now as it is the last one I am wanting.
  5. Is this the end of 100-150.00 M44's?
  6. You say that now. Wait until you get one. When that bug bites, it usually bites hard.
  7. If it is a run of the mill Russian M44 200.00 would be too much, however if it is a Polish, Hungarian, or Chinese T-53 it could be worth that or more depending on condition and originality. Bayonets can be had fairly cheaply if that is the only modification made to it. Before you dismiss it as not worth it check it over good and make sure it is not one of the rarer models, if it is matching numbered and not modified beyond repair or restoration. Also it wont be too long the ways things are going where 200.00 would be too much for a Russian. Think of it this way, you did not pay too much, you just bought it too early.
  8. You expect correctly. You know I understand when a dealer does it, after all they are in business to make money. However it really ticks me off when the vultures who hang around outside do it. Wanna be a dealer, go rent a table inside.
  9. Was not looking for 40 ammo so I did really do any price checking. 50 rounds x .24 = 12.00 box. I would be surprised if you can find it that cheap anywhere and certainly not at a Knoxville gun show.
  10. Kind of nice they did not promote it as heavy as usual. You could actually walk around quite comfortably this morning and it did not take a half hour to get in either. Thought there would have been rush on reloading supplies also being prices are going up, but did not witness that either.
  11. Went ahead and pulled the bullets. Upped charge to 3.7 gr of Clays from 3.0gr. Cases would not hold anymore without compressing powder. Loaded 10 rounds. first 2 rounds would not cycle but then the rest were fine. Will probaly stick with Titegroup.
  12. Went to preview but did not have any money so I did not go to auction. Was just wondering what the 03A3's and the Garand sold for. As usual probaly more than they worth.
  13. Last time I was in JFloyds they had 7.62x39 surplus I think for 5-6$ box, but that was probaly six months to a year ago.
  14. Thanks for the info. Guess I will pull them and start over.
  15. Did my first 9mm reloads for my Glock 17 and they wont cycle. Am using a 115 gr bullet with 3.0 grains Clays (because I had some left over from shotgun reloading). This was the light load from the Hodgdon manual. I screwed up and loaded a 100 rounds without first trying any to see if they would have worked. Now I am stuck. Would seating the rounds a little deeper in the case increase the pressure enough to make them cycle or do I need to start over.
  16. Try Fox & Co down off Dutch Valley Rd.
  17. I just finished my AR build with one of these lowers and recommend it. Had no issues with putting together lower parts kit and upper fit absolutely perfect.
  18. What you will need is a bigger gunsafe!
