Which will rust also unless it is coated somehow like other have said.

Then she needs to clean her gun more if she insists on carrying it that way....

Armorers tend to repair/replace stock items. Also installation of new parts such as optics, mounts, barrels and so forth. Mainly on military type guns such as AR/M4 platforms, duty handguns, shotguns, etc. Gunsmiths tend to be more in depth. They build, fabricate, repair broken parts, etc. They usually do installation of headspaced barrels, reaming, and cutting. Exception seem to be Army Marksmanship Unit and Marine Depot Armorers that actually build rifles such as for the shooting teams and such. In my experience it tends to be if you can do everything with hand tools and light power tools you are an armorer. A gunsmith uses bench mounted tools like lathes and presses in addition to hand tools.

Sounds like she need to quit carrying in a belly band. Problem solved. Messenger/sling bag sounds like the way to go. Even if you replace with a stainless piece, it will still rust. Just takes a bit longer.

If it went pending, then you still have about a three month wait. You cannot ship until you get the form in hand. Being a NFA item, if the buyer is the receiving NFA dealer on the paperwork, then yes you can ship it direct to him. You cannot give it to a NFA dealer in your home state to ship it to the receiving NFA dealer since the home state dealer is not on the paperwork. You may use FEDEX, UPS, etc to ship the item. Any common non-gov carrier is fine.

Jamie was treated like crap and didn't deserve it. Jay kinda did with his bossy attitude. Half of the people on there never should have been on the show. They sucked. How the heck can most of them be title winners of some kind, yet be awful, even with the type of gun they won something with. The females were especially worthless. Was glad to see them gone quick. George and Ashley made the AF look bad. They should have been reminded that the were representing their service branch since they both were still serving.

Ashley I hated. Total jackwagon.

Not taking anything away from him, but the air force sniper gave him the slot in the final showdown. I think he felt selfish since he was just going to spend the money on guns and such since he was single and that Chris was going to spend it on his kids. Still Chris smoked gunny in the end.

Some companies also used loctite on them. Colt almost always stakes them, but I have seen several Bushys with loctite. Take the stock off and heat with a torch carefully around where it meets the lower, then try to break it loose.

Series 1 Tactical Handgun Course Oct. 9th in Dickson
TNRobocop replied to bigwakes's topic in Training Discussions
I saw those come in. I was driving the red silverado Z71 extended cab. It was a fun week. We have Level IV sniper in June for the instructors and staff so we can flesh out the course for next year. I have taken Sniper I, II, III, and LE Rifle Instructor from Denny. Can't go wrong with any class he teaches. I instruct now for Denny which is harder than being a student I think, but I learn as much from the other side of the rifle now as I did behind the scope. -

I am an instructor with Denny under High Ground Training Group. We list all upcoming courses on his websites: Home Home We were talking about another handgun as well as a rifle course, but nothing firm yet. -
People already bitch about the cops now. Imagine if we did that here, never hear the end of it.

I carry a Kimber TLE/RL for my duty gun. Love it, no problems, and only paid $745 shipped off of gunbroker.

Yes please. My yard looks like Verdun in WW I from all the trench warfare.

Goodman's Gun Show this weekend @ Fairgrounds
TNRobocop replied to Grunt67's topic in Events and Gatherings
Not possible. TBI will not do a background check without going through a dealer. We have accounts we set up and such for billing. Individuals and non-dealers cannot have an account for background checks. Anything else is a scam. -
At least it wasn't on an airplane....

50 round course of fire is what we shoot in the air force. We use four positions for standard qualification. Prone Supported Prone Unsupported Kneeling Standing

Feeler: LONG range class in Nashville?? Want one?
TNRobocop replied to TresMon's topic in Training Discussions
I can provide a free classroom with tvs, whiteboard, chairs, projector etc in the Nashville area. Shoot me a PM and we can see if we can work something out. -
I agree that FL gun prices were outrageous when I was down there two weeks ago moving my wife to Pensacola. The plan is to sell our house here in Hermitage, move there and open my new shop in the Pensacola area, calling it Florida Tactical or something like that since Tennessee Police Supply won't cut it anymore...lol.

A bipod such as a Harris is perfectly legal on a pistol. You see them on Ruger Chargers all the time. A grippod is a whole other thing. Now granted, if it is being used a a forward grip a case could be made, but you would have to pizz off the cop pretty well to do get charged with it.
