While I have no direct experience with a 228, I reckon any SIG will be a quality pistol. My department issue gun is a 229, and it's a better shooter than I am (most of my guns are ). What you'll find with most LEO trade-in guns is: holster wear, seat belt dings, and cosmetic blemishes but low round count. Most LEO trade-ins have been carried a lot, shot very little. YMMV BTW........who's got the trade-ins, if I may ask ?

I'm assuming de Bethencourt is dealing with a foot of snow right now, and no power - but the preliminary work has been completed to bring him in here in June. Look for more information in the near future.
