  2. January bump AND last time offered at this price !!!!
  3. Welcome aboard.........you may not know it, but you have just opened Pandora's box !! My opinion of open carry ? = usually not the best option
  4. .......
  5. Welcome aboard ! Rule of thumb is this........if you can purchase, you can permit. Having said that, I long ago got out of the business of predicting what TDOS is going to do. Good luck.
  6. They say "Breakfast like a King, Lunch like a Prince, and Supper like a Pauper"............makes sense. You just have to adjust for an overnight shift.
  7. IME, the XD platform is quality in both 9mm and .40 caliber. I'm a big fan of the XD line of pistols. And.....(not to crap on your buddy's deal).....but Bud's has .40 caliber XD Service models (new) starting at $ 470. I'm just sayin' Springfield XD 40, 4 inch, Black, 2006 package, 10rd Mags for Sale at Buds Gun Shop $470.00
  8. Very similar to the convenience store postings on Halloween night "Remove your mask before entering"
  9. Kiffin never had Tennessee driver's license GoVolsXtra
  10. Count me in...........enough is enough. I am currently (bad connection)............my goal is 200.
  11. AS of right now, 2:56 P.M. CST, on January 22, 2010, I, BigPoppa, am officially Lane Kiffined out. I will speak of him no further after this post. I was upset, angry, and hurt. I spoke ill of Lane Kiffin. I am over it. Derek Dooley is my Head Coach now, he has my full, unadulterated support and confidence and that's that. Naming a sewage plant after Lane Kiffin is just dumb. Let the wound close, and stop doing things to perpetuate the "Scorned Hillbilly" stigma. He will reap what he has sown, all in due time. I am moving on. I urge my fellow Big Orange brethren to do likewise.
  12. Using this line of thinking, every home protected by (Federally subsidized) flood insurance is a Federal building and, thus, not legal to carry in.
  13. CAN.......unless the bank is posted.
  14. Reference please. I believe this is another incorrect "myth" that makes the rounds.
  15. "Can't carry in a bank" is the near the top of my list of misinformation declared by/asked about by our HCP students. It's one of those items that usually begins with the famous "My next-door neighbor's aunt's sister's son-in-law was in the South Dakota Game Warden academy, and he said :blah::blah:"
  16. Yes.

    Two questions

    what OS said.....X 2
  18. Education Growing up in Atlanta, King attended Booker T. Washington High School. He skipped ninth and twelfth grade, and entered Morehouse College at age fifteen without formally graduating from high school.[10] In 1948, he graduated from Morehouse with a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology,[11] and enrolled in Crozer Theological Seminary in Chester, Pennsylvania, from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Divinity degree in 1951.[12] King then began doctoral studies in systematic theology at Boston University and received his Doctor of Philosophy on June 5, 1955, with a dissertation on "A Comparison of the Conceptions of God in the Thinking of Paul Tillich and Henry Nelson Wieman."
  19. ........with a "The Brady Bunch" marathon. WTH ?
  20. Sgt. Joe, You heard right.....Kippy left for the Seahawks. As I gather, Kippy's issue wasn't that he didn't get the job, it's that he never got a fair consideration for the job. Apparently his "interview" was a brief, courtesy type meeting with Hamilton, who was just going through the motions after he had already decided on Dooley. If it was between Cutcliffe and Kippy, I wanted Kippy. I'm on board with Dooley now, but it's still unfortunate to see Hamilton screw over another guy with deep ties to Rocky Top. Fire Hamilton / Hire Fulmer
  21. Welcome aboard
  22. Just measured one of ours, and it's pretty close to what Superman had. bottle is 26" tall / width at neck of the bottle 5" / width at base of bottle 12" BTW................."what a stupid question :screwy:"
  23. Good read. Puts many issues into the proper perspective.
  24. Except for a few naysayers, Coach Dooley is being well received over at VolNation.com.
  25. I like him. I feel better. I feel like he understands the culture, traditions, and history of the program. Hell, I bet Lane Kiffin still doesn't know who Robert Neyland was.
