Definately D & T ! I opted for the law away plan just so I had a good excuse for droppin by often on my last purchase hahaha. Nice guys and a great store.
-
as usual of late, my S & W Bodyguard. I did however opt for my Nemisis pocket holster instead of my normal High Noon IWB.
-
check out High Noon holsters, I've bought several from them. They have a good selection of in stock items and the 2 IWB that I have are very comfortable. Quick shipping also. Let us know how you like that Bersa after a while. My wife saw one a while back and had a twinkle in her eye.

win win ! more fun for all .

I am looking to add a small light to my EDC gear. Any suggestions? Who has the best prices in the middle TN area. I like the size of the Fenix PD 20 and would like to stay in the small easy carry range. I have a need for a light on my job from time to time and seem to not have one with me when I need it so this is a dual purpose purchase.

not the same outfit, I am pretty sure I am talking about Luke Adams at adamsholsters.com however I checked out the link bvarnell put up and they have some dandy stuff also. So still asking if anyone has used this guy. I went on and made an order (long wait) but he was Johnny on the spot with a reply and status of my order so I am confident

HELP ! mag spring problem with my Mossberg turkey gun.
Deerbnb replied to Deerbnb's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
Thanks John, I will give it a whirl. About to look on line and see about ordering a spring for it. -
Saw a guy OC at Rural King in Clarksville a few days ago, had a nice rig. I KNEW he had a gun and it certainly didn't bother me. He did NOT know I was carrying a gun therefore he wasn't bothered one bit either LOL. But there are those among us who are ignorant on the subject and somehow seem to be willing to show that ignorance at every available opportunity. I really don't want to have to deal with any of that ignorance pointed in my direction, so I guess I'll stay concealed (for now). My CC rig is quite easlily accessed if needed without any attention when not needed. But I must say I sometimes feel like I am "hiding" something even though I am within my legal bounds. May have to at some point take on some OC "therepy" to help me deal with that syndrome.

Some 24 or so years ago I bought a Mossberg 500 deer/turkey combo. It has served me well for a long time thru ALOT of game. Even got to use the slug barrel to take a few deer on some managed hunts at Oak Ridge and Ft Campbell. I was fortunate enough to take another turkey last week and when I unloaded my shotgun I noticed almost NO pressure holding tension on the magazine. Looking down the tube with the cap off it looks as if the spring is actually broken and/or twisted. The opening is so small i am assuming the tube will have to be removed to replace the spring. Any advice would be appreciated. Not sure how this has happened but it has become an old friend don't want to park it now.

Love my Smith & Wesson Bodyguard .380. There if you need it ! Desantis pocket holster works great with it for me.
-
Broomhead WOW ! great sir. stay on it, maybe you will soon get some form of relief from the discomforts.

ok, since you want to keep it going I am now down 40 of my 50lb goal with a month and a few days to go. Only setback is a nasty sinus infection that got into my lungs and has required a round of Prednisone which has made me hungry as a bear. But I can till do this. 10 lbs in 33 more days.

Someone relieved me of my Marlin .444 several years ago, missin it after seein this post. Did a fine job on a bear for me once and took a bunch of deer with it. Lever guns are special in the woods. GREAT addition, thanks for sharing.

Sorry about the way you came about them. I too was given a few guns by my cousin's widow shortly after he died. He was a retired police officer and I grew up next door always asking to shoot his service revolver when I was a young boy. He took me everywhere as a early teen. I am now 46 yrs old he was only 58 after a lifelong battle of health issues he passed away 2 years ago. Shortly after his death his wife brought me his .357 S & W service revolver that he carried as a police officer in the 70's and early 80's before his health problems. I am taken back to times when I was younger and he was not only alive but healthy everytime I take it out of the safe. There were a couple of other guns also but none like the Smith he carried on duty. Let them both live on in our hearts (and sometimes our hands)

Today was a good day... and a big thumbs up to D&T Arms
Deerbnb replied to gunrunner32's topic in Show and Tell
BEAUTIES. And I too would add a shout out to and FOR D&T. I have sent several folks there way after the great experiences I have had there. What all calibers are available in that ranchhand ? May have to check into one of those that looks like more fun than a barrell of monkeys. -
I have a SKS with one of the "sporter" stocks I saw a "pin kit" available to covert to folding stock. What are the laws governing such a thing ? There is a disclaimer of sorts on the package of the pin kit. Lil help from ye of greater knowledge.

It is what it is (trigger) but I like everything else about it. I carry mine daily and it shoots very well at reasonable distances. And the important part is that if I ever to happen to need it I might actually have it on me. I have larger stuff but they aren't nearly as mobile as that little jewel. I have put several hundred rounds through it with ZERO problems.

D & T Arms has had them lately for 350.00 I picked one up two weeks ago. They don't last long there but seem to have a few every week. That was the first time I had done business with them, they were more than professional and very personable and helpful. BTW thats in the Rivergate mall area of Nashville.

OK, fingerprinted the 3rd, recieved today FINALLY. You're gettin closer all the time Terry. For what it's worth we made our WWW trip (weekly wally world) before we got home and checked the mail today hahahah. I live out in the sticks so not making another trip for the "walk" till I need to go back anyway. (Which will probably be Monday on the way home from work)

Well Terry, no luck Saturday. And yes tack on one more day for the holiday. I ordered a High Noon IWB tuckable about 2 weeks ago and was so happy with it for the very reasonable price that I ordered another yesterday for another gun.
