  1. Just wait till you've actually read the rule book and see what kind of new rules they'll have before you decide anything there supposed to be out next week on the 7th. I also think there's several sitting on the fence with you.
  2. A 8 shot revolver would probably be pretty good but I have a hard enough time counting to 6 in a bottom feeder you can feel when the slide locks but on a wheel gun if you lose count shoot you shoot till you hear a click/click
  3. Im gonna wait till I see the new rules next week before I get worked up about it. I really dont think it'll change that much hopefully just some fine tuning and rewording after all its just a game.
  4.  only a primer WONT push out a bullet in my revolver   LOL
  5. I'll bring one for you to look at sat.
  6. I'd already slugged my barrel and got the right sizing die (.357) and using the Lee tumble lube bullets (.356) it leaded pretty bad in my 34 but works great in my sons Ruger I got 4 different molds for a 9mm but I did find out on this combination it also depends on the lube I use. Same bullet same powder but different lube and it leaded (got a Star Lubersizer) so I try a  different lube and it starts coming around and I'm only shooting 1020fps like to get it up to 1040/50 fps I think (hope)I can get it now like I said its been interesting
  7. I been trying to get the right combination of bullet/bullet weight/lube and powder to use in my Glock 34 using the factory barrel without leading I think I'm on the right track now I've shot 50 rds this evening without any leading and they were pretty much making power a couple rds didn't so I've bumped it up a little maybe they'll still be fine. I had a G21 that I could shoot any lead bullet through it without a hint of leading but this G34 is different I've tried several combinations without any success till now I'm hoping I'm on the right tract. It's been interesting and a challenge a couple times I almost gave up and bought a barrel now I got a little hope.
  8. I shoot IDPA and Ive been using Lees 38/357 dies with strictly lead bullets and I've loaded over 40,000 rds and all I've had to do was clean out the excess lube that builds up in the seating and crimp die.
  9. How's this for color?
  10. That sounds like it could be fun or disastrous LOL if I wasn't already obligated this weekend Id like to try that.
  11. Ive not shot this before just how does it work ?
  12. Mike from Florida is gonna be there and wants to squad with us at the Masters
  13. Another reason the SSR PF was dropped was you had to reload your own ammo to make PF when it was at 125,000 or try and find some ++p you couldn't just buy regular 38spl factory ammo that was legal and the +p or the ++p wasn't recommended (dangerous) to shoot in some of the older K frames so  IDPA tested all the major name brands of the 38spl ammo to come up with the 105,000 PF.
  14. Pretty good reminds me of some of my own experiences
  15. http://youtu.be/5B7AqOeKEU4   I'm a revolver nut so I dont feel short changed against your average crook but if he's a decent shooter I'd rather not get in the predicament if I can help it
  16. And be prepared for some fast runners with NT's and a lot of movers
  17. I was trying to be discrete LOL  How many from ORSA are making the trip to AL State?
  18. I sure hope it works better then last year that was a mess but on a good note it was a he!! of a match but because it took so long I was pretty tired the refreshments helped out a lot .
  19. BrasilNuts that's really good 12 points down on a 100 rd match and coming in 6th overall  maybe one of these days I can get there I hope I can anyway.  I been staying around 12th to15th overall which I feel like is decent so I been trying to get more accurate I guess ya gotta keep going back and forth between the speed and accuracy.
  20. Same thing happened to Daniel he shot CDP SS and was put in SSP.   Tyler you done excellent you shot very good and was really safe its new shooters like you that all the clubs like to see.
  21. Anytime a man finishes close to Rick and it looks like Stanley's buddy Andy Steel he's doing good Congrat's
  22. I ended up 9th over all and 4th most accurate out of 93 shooters. A match is always better when you finish well LOL
  23. The rods have been shot 4 times and the panel once now I tell everyone that wants to use it if they shoot it they pay for it
  24. My eyes aren't as good as they used to be and I use the red fiber optic. I use a green one if theres gonna be any dark stages or if Im gonna shoot inside..We had 2 new shooters in our squad they both done really well its a real pleasure to shoot a good match and meet new people.
