  1. If you are going to Pickwick you will be going through Wilson lock. It is TVA owned and COA operates the lock. I think you are good to go. I have been through there and talked to the lock master before they lowered the water while open carrying. Nothing was said. I have never had any problems in any of the locks on the TN river from Chattanooga to Ky dam.
  2. Ditto. I stop to buy fuel or run into a convience store and a few other places while OCing. I open carry more in summer than winter. I hate having my gun against my skin and sweating. Most of the time I CC in the winter. It is just easier then. Even when CCing in the summer as soon as I get to a place where I can I push my shirt between the gun and skin.
  3. We do also where I work. Almost everyday while it has been so hot. We had a 40 year old guy die from heat stroke at home a few weeks ago. I heard he almost had one a few weeks earlier but got out in time. We had another one happen at work but I think he is going to be ok.
  4. I have downloaded it and plan to read it when I finish the book I am reading now.
  5. Why am I not surprised? Being weak and giving in to everyone will not make the world love us like he thinks it will.
  6. It looks like you made them very happy kids.
  7. I hope so.
  8. I voted a week ago today. That was the first time I have early voted and did it out of necessity. It was so quick and easy I'll probably keep doing it.
  9. This is the way I see it. Just conceal and be quiet. If anyone can top this I want to see it.
  10. Maybe you should call the city for a jump every time it does not start. Then maybe they would get tired of coming out and find the problem. First I would do like others have said and check for lights staying on. Sometimes it is something simple like that.
  11. Happy Birthday!
  12. I think your boss knows more than he says he does.

    Retread Tires

I once had some retread cheater slicks. I know from experience that they will sling the tread off of the casing when you get well over 100 mph.
  14. At home. I am in the process of building a range. While it is not complete I am using it a little. I still have to finish moving the dirt and put up posts and target boards.
  15. You should be proud of that. I wish I could do that good.
  16. My cousin Vinny. To this day I still laugh my butt off.
  17. Here is the primary arms M4 mounted.
  18. I have one and like it just fine. I'll try to get a pic up later. Go to AR15.com to see what others think about it.
  19. While I may watch it, it will not be because of her. I am sick of seeing something about her every time I turn on the news or go to a news website.
  20. It was the spring. It is working great now. When I saw how much more tension the new spring had when I was putting it back in the bolt I pretty well knew that was going to do it. It was really hard to push it far enough to insert the pin. I don't think it was that strong when new.
  21. No You're not the only one.
  22. I would really like to see this passed also. Probally more than anything else. Where I work there is a no weapon policy but I think many have guns in their vehicles anyway. No one talks about it and no one has lost their job because it it as far as I know. Back a few years ago the safety man took a hunting rifle out of his truck to look through the scope at some contractors on a roof to see if they were wearing fall protection. He almost lost his job and he should have lost it IMO. If one of the hourly workers had done this they would have been gone but he got to stay. He did take the bolt out before he did this but still............
  23. His request shows that he has realized he is not the tough man that he thought he was, not where he is going anyway.
