  1. S&W 500 with a looong barrel 44MAG with a looong barrel Remington 870 12ga marine M1 Carbine Barrett (like that will ever happen) Mini 14 (stainless & synthetic)
  2. Same here and same most every time there s a new one. Some times it takes a while because I don't want to ask. If I don't eventually figure it out, someone will ask :-)
  3. Since it is a standard issue plate I know it could have been on anything but wouldn't it be too cool if ended up on a 69Z28 or something like that. I know the chance is slim to none but still............
  4. That was fast. One of my sons got his that quick. I waited for months.
  5. If I have the option I always back in. I gotta back up sometime so why not get it over with on the front end. Who knows when you may need to get out in a hurry. Besides, a vehicle just looks better backed into a parking spot. I also back into the garage at home.
  6. It looks like they are taking care of this the way it should be done. Someone should have just brought this to the forefront in a better way than Kwik did but who has the time to sit around reading old laws just to find something like that.
  7. He was one of the greatest guitar players that ever lived and I liked how he was able to overcome the drugs before he died waaay too soon. I still listen to him a lot. I also like to listen to one of his students, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, another great guitar player.
  8. Looks like I'm in the minority here. Most of the time only a fully loaded M&P40c. If I am going to be in unknown areas such as when I am geocaching I will carry a extra mag. I always have a extra mag in the truck. If I'm carrying a PF9 I am more likely to stick one of those slim mags in a pocket but I don't carry it much. Yeah, I know a mag is not much good in the truck but it's better than nothing.
  9. It was spring water.
  10. Yesterday I bought a Ram Mount, a case of bottled water, and some drugs that were made in the USA. I can't remember much before then. In fact, I think everything I boght yesterday was made here. And no the drugs are not the reason I cant remember any further back.
  11. He has already shown you what you need to know as you have said and I would not worry about friction with another church member. You are voting as what you feel is best for you and IMO church and or fellow members should not enter into it. And I would not care who knew how I voted and why. Who knows, maybe you cause some others in the church to lean your way. If he back pedals on one thing what else will he do it on next. I would like to know how he answers the question after he went against what he promised on the guns in parks deal.
  12. That is the best one I've read in a while.
  13. I just looked up the Vortex SPARC and saw the doubler screws into the reddot. How do you like that and does it work well? That would ceartinaly take up less space than a reddot, magnifier, and iron sights.
  14. I vote for a stock with pistol grip of some kind. I have a pistol grip and do not like it. I tried it with bird shot and did not want to even think about shooting buckshot. I took it off and went with a stock/grip combination. I would take a conventional stock before a pistol grip but really like the stock/grip combination.
  15. There were two .22s in my class. One woman, one man. Then you had the usual assortment of .38s, 9mm, and .40s. Then one little girl that might have weighed 100 lbs soaking wet with a .45. I don't remember that much about the class anymore but I remember that girl with that big ole .45.
  16. No. Lots of times you may never see anyone up close. Most communication is by radio. There is no way for them to search before entering a lock unless they came out in a boat.
  17. If you are going to Pickwick you will be going through Wilson lock. It is TVA owned and COA operates the lock. I think you are good to go. I have been through there and talked to the lock master before they lowered the water while open carrying. Nothing was said. I have never had any problems in any of the locks on the TN river from Chattanooga to Ky dam.
  18. Ditto. I stop to buy fuel or run into a convience store and a few other places while OCing. I open carry more in summer than winter. I hate having my gun against my skin and sweating. Most of the time I CC in the winter. It is just easier then. Even when CCing in the summer as soon as I get to a place where I can I push my shirt between the gun and skin.
  19. We do also where I work. Almost everyday while it has been so hot. We had a 40 year old guy die from heat stroke at home a few weeks ago. I heard he almost had one a few weeks earlier but got out in time. We had another one happen at work but I think he is going to be ok.
  20. I have downloaded it and plan to read it when I finish the book I am reading now.
  21. Why am I not surprised? Being weak and giving in to everyone will not make the world love us like he thinks it will.
  22. It looks like you made them very happy kids.
  23. I hope so.
