  1. Really sad. I know that area well. I have a boat very nearby on Cypress Bay. Just lie you always hear when ever something like this happens, you would not think about

something like this happening here. It is a nice quiet area with a lot of retired people.

  2. Just think of something you like and try it. A friend of mine has tried just about everything. Some of those he does not use again. Others he does. Sometimes

he uses chili or taco and has used many others that I can't think of. Some of them are really good.

  3. I'd rather see a bill that will do, basically, the same thing but worded a little differently. Rather than coming from the angle of 'employers must allow firearms in cars in their parking lots', which will be argued against based on 'property owners' rights', I'd like to see a bill that would make the interior of our vehicles the legal equivalent of our homes. In other words, the interior of our vehicle is our private property and, by state law, we have sole authority to determine what is in there regardless of where the vehicle is parked. This way, there shouldn't need to be different bills for school parking lots, etc. Worded correctly, such a law could also make it legal to have a loaded firearm in one's vehicle without the need for a permit, which some other states already allow.

I agree that this would be the way go about it and would probably be the easiest way to get it passed. It would do the same thing without stepping on the private property rights of others.

  4. Unless a person knew what was actually said in that TFA meeting and knew the law on felons and guns, might believe that. Every time I hear that commercial I wonder what I have heard on a issue that I may not know the real truth about. I have tols people what was actually said and the laws pertaining and they say. "Oh really?" THey don't have a clue. I just try to disregard all attack adds and do my own research. I think the majority of people in this country make their pick by what they see in the adds and on the news and this is sad.

  5. Either one will give you a better picture over cable. The down side is $5.00 a month for every extra receiver. I had Dish for years and have had Direct for the last few. About the only difference I have found between the two is the menu was a lot better on Dish. It may not be that way now and I may have felt that way because I went to something different than what I was used to.

  6. What's the battery life like with the AA battery? I'm kinda split. I like the option of multiple reticles, but I don't want to be constantly replacing the battery. The new gen 6 micro dot has an advertised battery life of 1000 hrs on 1 cr2302.

I can't remember how long I have had my M4 but I have yet to replace the battery. I know I have had it long over a year, maybe over two.

  7. This is Sadie. We call her princess. Got her from my son when she was a little over a year old. We had recently lost our Golden Retriever and my son was having problems with Sadie. She requires a lot of activity and attention and he was gone too much to do this so she was destructive when he was gone. She is my buddy and is a great dog.

  8. Slightly off tangent, but on a more positive note I caught a glimpse of a segment on the news about 10 minutes ago that showed a sign that said "Your legally concealed weapon is permitted here." or something along those lines (been busy at work and finally just sitting down). Didn't hear the words. I know we had a thread a couple of weeks ago about a restaurant that had a similar sign. It might have been about that. The news segment was called "Bring your guns."

Did any of you guys see it? Hopefully it was done in a positive enough manner to counteract some of these letters being sent out that you guys are describing.

I saw that too but like you I did not see much. I think they said it is going to be on tonight at ten or tomorrow.

  9. I use bleach to clean. I put it on with a pump up sprayer. I get it covered well like this. If the deck is not too weathered I'll mix it 50'50.Then use a pressure washer but don't get too close. The color in the wood will look like new. Let it dry good before putting on the stain.

  10. I've been wanting to switch from Regions for a while now. I worry about the lack of branches. Do credit unions charge a fee to use some other ATM?

I bank at a bank with three total locations and I have not fund this to be a problem. Now days just about anywhere you buy anything with your debit card you have the option of getting cash back. It works fine for me. Could be different for you.

  11. I was in Regions today to deposit a check, was told that i would have to remove my hat first because they now enforce the No Hat,No Sunglasses, rule to be in the bank. What a crock of $H]T !!!

If I had a account at Regions the hat deal would be enough by it self for me to close the account. I don't know what this bank is thinking unless they want to go out of business. How can any business think that is anyway to treat a customer.
