  1. Back yard for me. Sometimes with friends at their home. Other than when I was taking my HCP class I have never shot at a public range.
  2. Rooster fries (really good), chittlings (fried and they were ok if you were hungry), and bbq coon (that was good).
  3. I'm not a deer hunter but I can tell you what you are doing will pay off. I know a family that has about a dozen hunting a big farm. Two years ago they decided that anyone who shot a buck below a certain score had to pay $50.00 into a pot and the one who got the biggest buck got the pot. The first year two people paid and no one since. This year there have been three huge bucks with very nice big racks, just in two years. They have never killed big bucks like this before. One that I personally saw weighed 220 lbs. I know it is easy for me to say this since I don't deer hunt but just be patient.
  4. Got this from KTOG on changing the grip: This disassembly link is for the P11 and 1st gen P3AT. The only difference in the 2nd gen is that the recoil catch is now integrated into the grip and can not be dropped/lost. Of course the extractors are different but that has no effect on changing the grip. P-11/P-40 and P-32/P-3AT Disassembly
  5. I think KTOG will have directions on doing this. If not someone there can tell you how to do it. I don't think it is all one piece. The frame is metal and has the SN on it. That part comes out of the plastic grip.
  6. I have tried to figure out how Wal Mart decides which stores sell guns and can't figure it out. In Jackson the store on the north side of town sells guns and the one out south does not. If I was looking at potential buyers I would think it would be better the other way around.
  7. I like everything about it but the MSRP. Anyone have any idea what they might sell for?
  8. Seems like I remember this happening there a few years ago after some other disaster. Most likely a hurricane.
  9. So if it is a verbal report why does it have to be a smart phone? Wouldn't any cell phone work? Maybe I don't know what a smart phone is.
  10. At least we won't have to worry about it in Tennessee since it's illegal to text and drive
  11. You can change it online if you want and you are good to go until it needs renewing. No need to get a new HCP unless you just want it. You can do your DL and HCP at the same time.
  12. Is it safe to assume that a digital camera does not do this and that it is only cell phones with GPS? I use a regular cell phone and don't use the camera so I think I'm OK but I need to tell my wife and sons about this. And does this site remove the GPS tags on pics?
  13. These are some pics of mine. Maybe you can get some ideas that you can use or tell me how I can improve mine. I started with cross ties on the back side. They are all drilled and fastened together. I put wings off the ends to help hold the dirt. The first two pics show construction of the back. The other pics show it finished with the exception of adding more dirt when it gets through settling. It is still settling so I'll probably wait until spring to add more dirt.
  14. I did not sell or buy anything but I sure enjoyed looking at all the items for sale.
  15. That's what I have been hearing from others. I talked to a guy on Friday that got his in two weeks. They sure have things running better than what they did when I was waiting on mine to come in.
  16. I remember it well. I was 24 years old and had been married for a year. Until Lennon died I had never given up hope that the Beatles would get back together but of course I had to face the fact that it would never happen.
  17. Really sad. I know that area well. I have a boat very nearby on Cypress Bay. Just lie you always hear when ever something like this happens, you would not think about something like this happening here. It is a nice quiet area with a lot of retired people.
  18. Just think of something you like and try it. A friend of mine has tried just about everything. Some of those he does not use again. Others he does. Sometimes he uses chili or taco and has used many others that I can't think of. Some of them are really good.
  19. I would also be interested in smaller ones if you had enough interest in them.
  20. It's about time something like this happened. I wonder how worried they were about getting out of there in one piece.
  21. Funniest thing I have read lately!
  22. I have been to Sweetwater and one of my boats was built there. You sure would not know that the county is like that just by going into that town. It seems to be a nice area otherwise.
  23. I agree that this would be the way go about it and would probably be the easiest way to get it passed. It would do the same thing without stepping on the private property rights of others.
  24. Unless a person knew what was actually said in that TFA meeting and knew the law on felons and guns, might believe that. Every time I hear that commercial I wonder what I have heard on a issue that I may not know the real truth about. I have tols people what was actually said and the laws pertaining and they say. "Oh really?" THey don't have a clue. I just try to disregard all attack adds and do my own research. I think the majority of people in this country make their pick by what they see in the adds and on the news and this is sad.
  25. I always heard more about razor blades in apples than poisoned candy. They were supposedly on every street but I never heard of any of them being found.
