    Geocaching

I use the Garmin 60 series and it's really good but if I was buying today I would get the new 62 series. I think the 62 series is replacing the 60. I have seen some great deals on the 60 series lately.

    Geocaching

I have been geocaching since the end of 2004 and I have been to some great places that I would have never known about otherwise.. I don't have the time to do it as much as I once did.
  3. Coyote and bobcat.
  4. I liked this comment to the article. It may be a little far fetched but it makes you think.
  5. By this time I'm always ready for spring, the water, and boats, but I never get tired of snow until this last one. That's because I had to travel from Bell Buckle to Ashland CIty and then on to Jackson. I don't mind driving in it except in cases like this when I have to go so far. What I do hate is the salt and brine. I had to drive my good truck yesterday and I absoluty hated getting it in all the salt.
  6. I voted Challenger.
  7. Hunting 101, thanks for the invite. Once I get out of West TN for good (5 more weeks) and get settled into a routine at home I may just take you up on that.
  8. I'm glad this one was started. I have been doing this for a year and I'll have to say it's about the hardest thing I ever tried to do. I guess I could tell what not to do than what to do. I have called in two coyotes (that I saw) and did not get either one. One figured out something was not right and bolted as I was pulling the trigger and the other one I was complety exposed to him. On that one I chose not to move or I would have been busted for sure. I watched him for ten minutes hoping he would turn away so I could turn around for a shot but he finally left. I will say it is exciting when I call one in even if I don't get him. I did get a get a fox last winter but I really want to get a coyote.
  9. If he can drive into the edge of Bedford Co. I would let him come to my place. I am not there full time until the end of Feb so we would need to arrange when for him to come. I will be there this weekend if he can't find anything closer.

    Fake Rolex

+1 If I even wore a watch I could buy a lot of $30 to $40 watches in my lifetime and still spend a fraction of what a Rolex cost.
  11. Same here.
  12. No one. I was thinking about it one time but he got banned before I made my mind up.
  13. It just goes to show you that toning down the rhetoric is only meant for the right but everyone knew that all along.

    keltec

The two Kel Tecs I own run just fine. Run enough rounds through it to know it is reliable but you do that with any carry gun. I will agee that they are not a range gun but if it works it's a fine carry gun.
  15. Me and my dog Sadie are hoping for a good results and recovery.
  16. Can you fit a folded down iron sight under the magnifier?
  17. Like most men I don't want one for myself. On the other hand if my wife wanted one and that's what it got to get her to carry one I would be shopping for one. Who cares if it looks like a toy. It's not going to be seen unless it was needed for defense.
  18. I find them useful and vote to keep them.
  19. Back yard for me. Sometimes with friends at their home. Other than when I was taking my HCP class I have never shot at a public range.
  20. Rooster fries (really good), chittlings (fried and they were ok if you were hungry), and bbq coon (that was good).
  21. I'm not a deer hunter but I can tell you what you are doing will pay off. I know a family that has about a dozen hunting a big farm. Two years ago they decided that anyone who shot a buck below a certain score had to pay $50.00 into a pot and the one who got the biggest buck got the pot. The first year two people paid and no one since. This year there have been three huge bucks with very nice big racks, just in two years. They have never killed big bucks like this before. One that I personally saw weighed 220 lbs. I know it is easy for me to say this since I don't deer hunt but just be patient.
  22. Got this from KTOG on changing the grip: This disassembly link is for the P11 and 1st gen P3AT. The only difference in the 2nd gen is that the recoil catch is now integrated into the grip and can not be dropped/lost. Of course the extractors are different but that has no effect on changing the grip. P-11/P-40 and P-32/P-3AT Disassembly
  23. I think KTOG will have directions on doing this. If not someone there can tell you how to do it. I don't think it is all one piece. The frame is metal and has the SN on it. That part comes out of the plastic grip.
  24. I have tried to figure out how Wal Mart decides which stores sell guns and can't figure it out. In Jackson the store on the north side of town sells guns and the one out south does not. If I was looking at potential buyers I would think it would be better the other way around.
  25. I like everything about it but the MSRP. Anyone have any idea what they might sell for?
