Never had it happen and never saw it happen. I do see the dimples.

Que?
I don't remember ever seeing any M&Ps with white lettering on the slides and I've had some since they started pushing them.
Mine has white lettering on the slide that says "caution: capable of firing with magazine removed". My son has one with the mag safety that does not have this and looks a lot better.

Well, this is true but, when for the most part you vote out a turkey and only have another turkey to replace it with, then what. All I see is an unending parade of turkeys that will get voted in and voted right back out. Meanwhile, nothing improves.
Note: I am not saying that everyone of them is a turkey, there are undoubtedly some good ones, but those are few and far between.
When/if enough the American people started paying attention and voting them out after one term they would get the message. The problem is too many people don't care enough to pay attention to the issues and vote. Until that happens nothing will change.

It left a pretty good exit wound but it was not a varmint round either. I was using 100 gr federal. I have been thinking about getting some lighter bullets after I use up what I have but at one coyote a year it may last for a long time.

good job, what did you take him with?
Savage .243

My first was a Ruger P95. Still have it.

After a year of trying I finally got my first one at 7:00 this morning. I had my scope turned down to 3 power and it was 100 yards out. I was thinking "what a small target" but then told my self I shoot that far at paper targets a whole lot smaller. This is just about the hardest think I ever tried to do but maybe now I'm over the hump.

Hardaway has got to know that will not go anywhere with the legislature we have now. He's a piece of work. I will never forget the speeches he made when the restaurant carry bill was being debated. What a idiot!

I have had mine for several years and carry it everyday day. No rust, just holster wear. I think you'll be fine

The P-series Rugers are great pistols. They may not be pretty, but they are tanks that will pretty much run forever.
That right there sums it up.
My first handgun was a p95. I still have it and even though I don't shoot it often, when I do I enjoy it.

I fall in between. I'm not going to be cheap but I'm not going to leave $5.00 for lunch for one person either. Other than that I don't play golf and I put on my own batteries.

I'm not 100% sure, but the way I read it is the 5 years only comes in if you have been convicted twice within 10 years and the last time was within 5 years. In otherwords only one conviction, no matter what the time frame, isn't a disqualifer.
But I admit I could be reading it all wrong.
That's the way I read it. At first I thought it was what the other way but after reading it several times I think it may be like Falllguy reads it.

I have had both and still have the PF9. It really depends how you are going to use it. The PF9 is smaller and lighter and more concealable but is snappy with a long trigger pull. The trigger is not bad once you get used to it. The PT145 was one of the best feeling guns in my hand I ever had. It is heavy but I guess most 45's are heavy when loaded. I was never crazy about the trigger but others who shot thought it was fine. Both ran fine and never had any malfunctions. I carried the PT145 in a belt holster and can't imagine carrying it any other way. I don't carry the PF9 often but when I can't carry anything else it works fine in a loose pocket.
The only other thing I can tell you is I have heard bad things about dealing with Taurus customer service but I never had ocasion to try that out. Kel Tec is known to have one of the best customer service in the business. I really can't say anything bad about either gun.

Can someone explain to me what geocacheing is? I'm very uninformed on this, all I know is you get coordinates and it's like a treasure hunt. Do you get what the last person put there and put something in it's place or am I just out there?
You find it, sign the physical log, and log it online telling about your experience hunting the cache and or what you think about the location of the cache. There is more to it but that is the basics.

can you guys recommend a GPS? I wonder if I can just unplug the Garmin that I have in my car and use it.
I use the Garmin 60 series and it's really good but if I was buying today I would get the new 62 series. I think the 62 series is replacing the 60. I have seen some great deals on the 60 series lately.

I have been geocaching since the end of 2004 and I have been to some great places that I would have never known about otherwise.. I don't have the time to do it as much as I once did.

I liked this comment to the article. It may be a little far fetched but it makes you think.
A "National Cyber Emergency" will be anything happening on the Internet that threatens the re-election of the current majority Party in Washington, or that threatens to expose the corruption of a member or members of that Party. -
By this time I'm always ready for spring, the water, and boats, but I never get tired of snow until this last one. That's because I had to travel from Bell Buckle to Ashland CIty and then on to Jackson. I don't mind driving in it except in cases like this when I have to go so far. What I do hate is the salt and brine. I had to drive my good truck yesterday and I absoluty hated getting it in all the salt.

Boatman your more than welcome to come hunt with me and we can try and get you one.
Hunting 101, thanks for the invite. Once I get out of West TN for good (5 more weeks) and get settled into a routine at home I may just take you up on that.

I'm glad this one was started. I have been doing this for a year and I'll have to say it's about the hardest thing I ever tried to do. I guess I could tell what not to do than what to do. I have called in two coyotes (that I saw) and did not get either one. One figured out something was not right and bolted as I was pulling the trigger and the other one I was complety exposed to him. On that one I chose not to move or I would have been busted for sure. I watched him for ten minutes hoping he would turn away so I could turn around for a shot but he finally left. I will say it is exciting when I call one in even if I don't get him. I did get a get a fox last winter but I really want to get a coyote.

If he can drive into the edge of Bedford Co. I would let him come to my place.
I am not there full time until the end of Feb so we would need to arrange when for him to come. I will be there this weekend if he can't find anything closer.
