  1. Congratulations!
  2. Yes there are horse trails. I seem to remember they intersected the hiking trail somewhere along the way and parking for horses was just down the road from the hiking parking lot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. This is the Walls of Jericho with ice everywhere. The temps were in the teens all day on this trip.
  4. That's me right there. In fact I'm not even going to try. 2012 will still be here when I get up in the morning. Yawn
  5. Been there twice. Once in the winter and the other in summer to take my wife. You went at the right time. You can see so much more when you get back into the canyon when there are no leaves on the trees. There was ice everywhere when we went in the winter. That is a amazing place to see. Did you make the upper loop to see it from the top?
  6. This would answer the question. Same DA, same school, a respected member of the community that is not politically connected carry a firearm into the school by accident and it be discovered that he was carrying. What would the DA do after letting this one go? That might put him between a rock and a hard place. I think we all know what he would want to do.
  7. Is that the Primary Arms M4 red dot and if so did it line up with the standard M4 mount?
  8. I made my wife read this. Thanks for posting.
  9. Just got through installing mine. I have not shot it yet but can feel a great improvement in the trigger. I can tell I'm going to be happy with it. Thanks Dolomite. Two comments: 1 There is a reason it says twice to make sure the gun is on safety. The safety is loose while installing this kit and moves very easy if you don't pay attention. If it moves while installing this kit it affects proper operation if the gun. 2 The function check is very important. That is how I knew something was not right. My hammer did not lock back with the trigger pulled so I went back through the installation again and figured out where I went wrong.
  10. That was a great tribute to your uncle. I'm not really sure how I got my love for firearms. Several people in my family were hunters, including my dad when I was young but no one was really gun people. Their firearms were tools for hunting and that was all. Maybe I got my start from them and took it farther than the rest.
  11. I told my son about it. I think he has signed up. He is all about the jeeps.
  12. I think I found him. I know I found the squirrel and bird.
  13. That's a great story! I enjoyed reading it.
  14. Yes, some but not all should fall off over time. Still parents need to reinforce to their children that some mistakes will follow them their entire lives.
  15. Those kids were in child safety seats. Anyone would know a child in a car seat would not have a M16. Whoever called this in was just trying to cause trouble for the parents because they did not think children should be playing with toy guns. Some people need to mind their own business.
  16. One more late vote for the Ruger for the same reasons others have said.

    New Rifle!

I'm envious. I'll second on needing pictures.
  18. I tried them boiled one time. I really tried. Couldn't do it. Some people love them but make mine roasted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I upgraded mine today and now I can't keep the battery up. It went dead in 8 hours with about 10 minutes use. I also had a lot of read e-mails show up as unread. I deleted them several times and they keep coming back. I can't get rid of them. I have been on tech support for a hour. They don't know what's wrong and I just got disconnected. Other than that everything is just great. I'm just a little frustrated right now. I do like the camea.
  20. I don't know when I have been as disappointed in anyone as I am with Mr. Todd right now. I was speechless as I read this.
  21. 300
  22. I was at work and heard about the first one. I got to a TV and was watching when the second one hit. Something I'll never forget.
  23. Behind my house unless it's raining. Then it's from the back porch.
  24. My wife will not cook or eat wild game. This is the reason I only hunt coyote. I do not think it's right to kill just for the sake of sport and I will not do it. Animals were put on earth for us to use, not waste and I think it's wrong. I enjoy watching the wildlife on my property and while I would have fun popping a rabbit at a hundred yards I just can't do it.
  25. No, they don't hold up either. Well, maybe they will to a bat but not to a car. I have one busted right now. It's still standing but it's ruined.
