  1. I bet the thing smelled good when it went bang!
  2. Evidently he was aiming this at Tom Cruise. Not that Marcus Luttrell needs ANYONE to take up for him and his fellow SEALS but, it's nice to see someone in Hollywood who understands. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/11/13/mark-wahlberg-lone-survivor_n_4267523.html
  3. Aint Lone Star machine still up on Kraft street? I worked in Carksville for a few years. They did good work back then. They did a four bolt main SBC for me. Made about 360 CID. They did the drive shaft too when I horseshoed it into a GMC S-15.
  4. They obviously were NOT copying a Glock or wouldn't have jammed.
  5. I lost all respect for him when he ćrapped on his wife (sandra bullock) with a sleazy trash bag with a fetish for nazis. Adulterous whore.
  6. You got a better chance at selling me a 1911. :)
  7. I can honestly say, I can't think of anything I need (within reason). I'm rebuilding an old M151A2 right now and I could sure use a plasma arc, but honestly I have more than I need. In fact, I could really stand to clear out some of this ćrap.
  8. You're not alone, although, we may be a sparsely populated group. I've had some really nice 45's and some not so nice. I've never liked a single one of them. I've shot some very high dollar 1911's owned a few XD's, a 4506 and a sack full of different 1911's. I wouldn't trade them all back for one of my G19's. I've never been able to get along with any of them, although I could at least put rounds on target with the Smith. That's a far cry better than anything I've ever accomplished with a 1,911lb boat anchor. Everyone's mileage will undoubtedly vary greatly because truth is truth, there are people who can knock your dick string out yer watch pocket with a 1911. Rob Leatham comes to mind. Remember this though; No matter how much arm chair commando nonsense you read about bigger is better, a 45 stops all jive, it only takes one hit....blah blah blah....what YOU shoot best is what you should be shooting because no matter what, a .25acp that hit its mark beats a 30mm Vulcan that misses. If you're like me and can't hit with a 45 acp, but can keep them 9x19's in there tight, then go for it. Capacity is on our side even if mass is not. The equation will balance. I struggled with it for years until just a few ago, I dumped the 45 en toto. I've never been happier. My lead goes further when I cast and even in today's market, I'm still loading 9mm for around a nickel a piece.
  9. Im stuck on this guy.  He's just too much fun!   Half way through, you get "Run to the (Benny) Hills"   Thats Awesome!     http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BCIYmpR7a_k
  10. I've always wondered about sugar. Salt Peter and sugar will make one SERIOUS fire. Lots of smoke too.
  11. John Force's car runs around 8,000 hp and will run 323 mph in less than 4 seconds. He don't need 16 cylinders either, he manages on a piddly little ole v8 of no more than 500 ci. LOL!!!
  12. Johnny Cash, Elvis, Buddy Holly and Jerry Lee Lewis for starters. Any greaser tracing his rockabilly roots will find these guys before they'd ever find the Beatles.
  13. I'll take that even further. Almost ALL full auto is stupid. Exceptions being trained units, some subguns (with training and practice) and for plain old chits and grins fun. 99.9% of the world cannot ACCURATELY place rounds on target as fast as they can pull the trigger on a semi auto. Spray and pray only works for Hollywood and video games.
  14. I'm right the opposite and despise haggling. I just don't get the dancing and lies. Just name your price, pay or leave. Simple.
  15. THANK YOU! If all that needs doing is a bit of neural disruption, I'll gladly replace the weight of one round of 308 for two or three .223's.
  16. I have seen some MONSTERS on a tract of Westvaco land.
  17. You touch that FAL off inside a house and you won't be hearing squat either.
  18. If its a 'zombie gun' the suppressed AR and a Glock. Some high dollar top shelf 1911 might be fancy to look at but will never make a good match for surviving the Zed invasion. If you're a at Glock hater, the S&W m&p or an XD are equals. Reliability, ruggedness and large capacity are the winners for taking out walkers, not beauty pageant looks and claims of match accuracy. Large calibers are out too. Too bulky, expensive, loud and heavy. If I were in this situation, I'd find me a gently used G19 (or 17) and a nice used AR. Been several in the classifieds here. That should leave enough to grab a suppressor or a pile of mags and components to load plenty of ammo. No matter what you choose, patience will yield the most satisfying results.
  19. The bulk of ammonium nitrate you find now SHOULD have additives to make it very difficult to detonate. Iron sulfate works. Buying in bulk ain't as easy as it used to be. A far as it goes, tannerite is pretty lame for an explosive. Which is why the media and the left will likely attack it vehemently. They never have a lick of sense about them. AN is by far the best choice for an oxidizer but there are far greater choices than aluminum powder for the second part. Deisel will yield a Timothy McVeigh result. Nitromethane will yield even higher results and using hydrazine will get you Astrolite G. Astrolite G is the worlds most powerful 'non nuclear' explosive. Ban this, regulate that. Bahh, you can't banish intelligent people. Chemists and/or physics geniuses joining forces with a moderately talented machinist will get you anything you want.
  20. What do you expect from dirty tree huggin hippies. Beatles greatest band ever? *vomit* not even close. Shoulda called themselves the dung beatles. Yoko is just another iteration of free lovin dirty tree huggin hippy filth. No surprise to their demise. I'll never understand why anyone other than some liberal democrat would put John Lennon on a pedestal of greatness. For Chuck to be playing with Lennon seems pretty low to me. He could fart a more talented tune than the likes of John. Just my opinion that no one else shares I suppose.
  21. What've you built lately?

  23. I see a straight walled case with a jacketed bullet in it. Shame on you.
  24. I've been to a few. I've done well in trading at them but I think that may have been more luck than anything. As far the show itself, they're typically pretty sad. They're pretty easy to get through though. Don't go with great expectations and you'll be alright.
  25. Jesus dude, do you OWN an ugly gun? Lol Seriously though, that 280 is very underrated and under appreciated. The .280 is a bad boy fer sure.
