  1. There are FN49 in other calibers. 30/06 would be one worth tracking down.
  2. I've always been amazed at the R&D to to mention the money invested to engineer a pen that would write in zero gravity. ....the soviets just used a pencil btw.
  3. I'm holding out for a personal ray shield generator.
  4. Why hasn't there been more R&D put into making functional armor that is both comfortable and stylish AND subtle?
  5. Better call Saul.
  6.    ...they stopped loving Colts today......
  7. Uhh yeah. Getting beat to death by a forging hammer and a guy looking like that is what nightmare are made of.
  8. Good luck, I wear a cloak of displacement too. ......oh jeez. I got dork all over the place. I'm going to get a beer and pinch my wife's butt or sumthin.
  9. Around the house and here locally I stick with a simple splint mail set up. Should I venture into town I'm more inclined to wear my half plate and carry my shield. NOW, if I gotta go to the big city, I take NO chances. I wear my enchanted elven made full plate with matching bascinet helmet and cod piece. I wear an amulet of protection +5 and carry a cavalier's shield to maintain my mobility.

    Upgraded my M14

The feed ramps of an M14 are much more "cast boolit" friendly than the Stoner design. Most of the m14's I've seen aren't too hard on brass either. Let couple of ar10's I've seen slings brass a ways.
  11. It kinda looks like a big ole rimfire!
  12. Me and Dolomite was theorizing about possibilities. I'm gonna say its NOT a training round. It is possible you could break a firing pin if you were to drop a hammer on it. I'm gonna say, and Dolomite agreed to the possibility, it may be a lot sample for quality control OR for customer inspection.

It works. Looks functional. Me like!
  15. If it had Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic in the commercial, it'd probably sell better.
  16. Yeah, I'm bet tin it's worth a little more than that to the right collector.  LOL.
  17. Our good friend David sells primed brass. You cannot find it cheaper. This particular lot of brass is Lake City .223 pull down. It's really good stuff, nice and clean. About 2 or 3 pcs out of every 250 might have a boogered neck. Save those for .300 blackout. Anyway, as I am loading I run upon something I have NEVER seen before. A piece of brass with no primer…..and NO PRIMER POCKET LOL. How the hell did that get in there?
  18. I'm curious what you get for your investment? If its something cool and different then obviously but performance wise, what are you getting in return for everything it takes to tool up for an oddball caliber?
  19. Fairview Chief of Police.  He's easy to get along with, but he smokes more weed than you could haul in a dump truck.   For the popo's to choose such an odd ball caliber is no real surprise.  I know a couple cops out here and I am darn glad they are on the force and glad to know them.  Good cops.   There's a few out here who feel the need to whip it out regularly and compare lengths.
  20. One redneck with a hundred dollar Mosin Nagant coulda changed this from a full length feature to a 10 minute infomercial. ***edit*** ACTUALLY, in the amount of time it took to over take the ship, two old farts with Kentucky flint locks coulda ended this. I'd love to see what the international authorities would have to say about defending the ship with a couple 200+ year old muzzle loaders. LOL!
  21. Surprised they ain't on the AR bandwagon. The ARX 100 they make looks clunky and unwieldy. I'm very pleased to have them here in TN but you probably won't see me sporting their products.
  22. Terry Harris is a bit of dipśhit. He's a nice enough guy I reckon but....well.
  23. Magpul ACS. Well worth the money. Doesn't yank hair.
