Most of us already know but it bears repeating here, David is an awesome guy. If you do good work he will pay you and won't jerk you around like some of the Aholes you may have dealt with in the past. If you're good at what you do, he's the kind of customer you wanna work for.

    While I'm sure showing up in flip flops and cut off shorts might be out of the question, I've found a lot of the nicer restaurants aren't as picky about dress code as they may have once been.  Last time we went to Jimmy kelly's I wore a Godsmack tshirt and my good Levi's.  Never got a second glance.  Strange thing paying with cash in a bad economy, it changes a lot of minds about some things.   I love me some good food.  With no kids me and wife eat out a lot.  No food will ever be worth a neck tie.  I'd rather stop at hardee's and grab a sixer and go home.  

  I'd be willing to bet a drive to the former soviet union to the Saiga plant itself would be worth the time and gas over FGS.

Mind those detent holes. Mine had some burrs that needed addressing. I'm very pleased with it overall though and the burrs are really not a complaint, just a concern.

I like it. The surface finish of the sharpened edge looks a little rough. Like the grinder was too coarse a grit. I'm gonna let the little man that sits in the back at the next gunshow work it over. He does very good work and the sharpened edge looks like a mirror when he's done. I've been carrying it all day. It's comfortable. I barely know it's there carried vertical.

Okay, i bought it. I really really like this. D-2 tool steel. Really tight sheath and a it came with a Tek-Lok. What do ya'll discriminating knife'sperts think?

Yeah, big difference there. Years ago it knew a guy who had one of the hollow handle survival knives Randall made. Shoulda talked him out of it.
