  1. Not surprised. Remington has become the greatest embarrassment in the gun community. Followed closely by Colt. If the founders of these companies could rise from the grave, they'd probably start using the products they designed to clean house.
  2. Meh, she didn't bring much to the group other than a nanny for Judith. Coulda been worse.
  3. Go to Weatherby's website. Their shotguns are Turkish made but of very nice quality.  I have put my little 12g pump through the mill.   It's fitted and finished better than a lot of Remington's present made turds.   You can get a nice 12g pump with wood furniture for less than $500.     I bought the shorter home defense model but if I needed one to hunt with, I would not hesitate to buy another one.  They stand behind their stuff too.
  4. Sadly, I can't go to 3D movies. I can't see them. Don't know why. Glasses on or off, it looks the same. Blurry.
  5. Gots to brotha!  Cuz Imma lumba jack now baby!
  6. Christmas morning!!!   Lunch at Buca Di Beppo afterwards.  Then going home and back to bed.  Merry Christmas!
  7. I would SO love to do that,...only, the redneck in me wants to do it in the Singer Slinger.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25_aG3NC6Ww
  8. I use a similar model when I subcontract as a security operator at Cool Spring Galleria. I find it allows me more freedom of movement when doubling up on my lvl 5 reactive body armor.
  9. I can see the chicken/tomato thing. I will say, the chicken Parmesan at Buca Di Beppo is awfully good. That's a marinara sauce on fried chicken with cheese over it all. I despise white sauce pasta, sewer cream (sour cream), mayonnaise, and ALL forms of pork. I get a lot of BS from people over the pork. I hate it. I'd rather eat fried dog sht. You'd think I was some unholy blasphemer. Many of my southern brethren are astounded. I don't k ow what the big deal is, it leaves more for YOU. People really really get their feelings hurt when they start talking bbq and how good they are at it. I love me some bbq chicken and will eat my own weight in a good brisket but I would rather eat the coals in the pit than the pig. My four major food groups- beef, potato, bread and beer.
  10. My husqvarna axe has a two stroke engine attached to it.
  11. I like the storm trooper on sheer principle. But I could never own either. No way it could keep all the grubby paw marks off of it,
  12. I've used 32/20 cases with the Lee dies made for such. It sucked. It's easier and much better to just do it right. Buy some factory ammo and reload the cases. First off, they don't need sizing if they're going back in the same gun. What you'll need to reload them is a decapping pin for obvious reasons. After decapping, use an Mdie to expand and remove the remaining crimp. Prime, charge and seat the bullet. I seat a 100g round nose perfectly flush with the case. Then you will need a taper crimp die for a .30 Carbine. It makes the perfect angle for the gas seal. You WILL have to play with it a bit to get it right. Too much and it won't seal, too little and it will jam up. Nothing references off the case mouth so be sure the outside is completely free of burrs. Easy peasy. Well, okay it's a little tedious but it's worth it. 3.5g of Trail boss is a hoot with a 100g cast round nose and it quite accurate for mine. Be absolute certain of your bore diameter as they can vary wildly depending on when they were made.
  13. Hey guys! I just got back from Academy in cools springs. They were closing out Fiocchi ammo for $12 a box. I grabbed 3 boxes. There was still a few boxes left.
  14. I like mine. Not sure why. You'll love the smooth crisp 87lb double action trigger.
  15. Hmm, 7,62x54R 180g bullet at about 2,700fps and 2,800ft lbs of energy. .338 Lapua 300g bullet at about 2,800 for and over 5,000 ft lbs of energy. Yeah! That's close [/sarcasm]
  16. I hope they were smart enough to counterbore that barrel. If not, it'll never hit anything. Even if it is, it's still not going to be perfectly stabile. Chopping the muzzle like that was stupid. The Taurus motto: Hell, we'll try anything!
  17. There is no big deal.  Often, though not always, it's proportional to ego and/or Mine's bigger than yours.  Either way it goes, it's what makes you happy.  Some folks are happy feeding the delusion.  If they are, more power to them.  The folks who make the things are happy for the business.
  18. That's a Gen-'Tard.
  19. Ya'll listen up!   This frickin' new guy here, Reloader762, he's doing it RIGHT.     Welcome to the board and from one lead poisoned fool to another, GOOD JOB!
  20. I understand what you're saying and to think about it is fun, but I've really forced my way of thinking on Mrs. Caster to the point that she thinks the same way; if I draw my weapon, I've already made my decision to use it.
  21. Where's the kitchen sink? That sheath has everything else. It must be inside the pouch. Lol!! Hope you don't get offended, I may totally rip off that design this winter. I've got a few knives to make sheaths for and I LOVE that thing.
  22. You know, it's really a simple thing to be polite. To be rude "Guy to Guy" is expected from time to time but; and I may be old fashioned like this BUT a lady, of whom you have never met, deserves your respect and a polite attitude until such time as she proves herself unworthy of it. I've never met any of y'all's wives but I can gaurandangtee you I would be polite and respectful. And I'm the one if not THE biggest ahole on TGO. If I can be polite to a lady, ANYONE can.
  23. Don't be deluded there Dennis. There's a lot of good people here. A lot of garbage has been around too. Thankfully we have an excellent moderating staff here that takes a rather ruthless approach to BS. Nonetheless there's a LOT lurkers here. While the guys who post regularly are all great folk, yourself included, even a great house like TGO has a rat or two in the basement.
  24. Nope, just a fool wanting a bucket of chicken I suppose.   He did eventually move after several minutes.  She just moved to a safe distance, locked the doors and waited. The way she was in there, there ain't really nowhere to go.     If that were the case I could ALMOST understand.  Frustration, mechanical failures and traffic make for VERY short fuses.
  25. Doing my best not to type a paragraph full of MF's and GD's right now.     My wife had just picked up her order at Kentucky Fried Chicken in Bellevue.  If you know the place then you know there's only one exit.  As my wife tried to leave a large truck pulling a trailer was blocking the exit.  The side of the truck said either "Alternative Landscapes" or "Alternative Landscaping".  She rolled down the window and said "Excuse me sir, but I need to get out and you're blocking the exit."  To which he replied "Yeah, No Sh!t."  She then asked how she was supposed to get out and he told her to "Put the Son of a B... in reverse!"   I'm a fairly cool cat most of the time but my wife is about as polite as they come.  If you swear at her like this guy did, we've got a serious problem.     If ANY of you know this company, PLEASE PM me with some contact info so I can have a little chat with the owners.   If, by some twist of fate, The person who talked to my wife that way is a member here.....well, me and you got a problem, you disrespectful piece of  :poop: .  If you got a boss and I ever find him, I'll do everything I can to get you fired you low life douche bag.         This is why I force my wife to carry her little Kimber everywhere.  You never know what people are gonna do.
