I got a question. I have a 2007 Toyota FJ, 4.0L I just rolled 70,000 miles.  No, I don't drive much, I work at home :cool:   It's time, so I replaced the serpentine belt and did an oil change.  Easy belt change once I found a youtube video.   Then I break out the water hose and some radiator flush.  7 years is long enough on anyone's coolant.  Drain it, fill it, run it.  All pretty easy to do.   Now here's what I do NOT understand.  I ran the engine for 15 minutes until the temp hand came up about 1/4 of the way with the heater on high.  Then I ran it for 15 more minutes and was gonna drain it.  Carefully I opened the petcock and it's cold as ice.  Close it back, start it up and drove about 30 miles with a piece of cardboard in front of the radiator.  Get home, the dam bottom radiator hose is still cold and when I drain it, it ain't even WARM! The top hose was just warm enough that you won't hold on to it for more than 5 seconds.  Certainly not HOT though. WTF?  The last little bit of water was barely warm.  NO radiator works THAT good.  The old small block chevys I'm used to would have been hot enough to send you to the emergency room after almost an hour of running.  And when I drove it, I wasn't exactly driving Mizz Daisy to tha Piggly Wiggly.  I stuck my foot in it pretty good. The temp gauge never got past half way and the heater was [as it always is on this thing!!!] hot as hell.   I drained it and rinsed it with the hose till it was clean and filled it back up with 50/50 Universal Prestone.     I guess I shouldn't complain I just don't get it.

Man! They make some nice looking stuff. Local guy is a stocking dealer and I'm seriously considering a new build. Think they're worth the price they demand? Their BCG's and barrels are very nice. I'm looking at building a 'short range marksman' rifle'. Under 300 yards. He has a NICE 18" bull barrel with a mid length gas and an 8 twist. I'd RATHER have a 9 twist or even slower, but finding one in 18" Stainless, bull barrel configuration is a joke. Everyone is so convinced they need uber fast twists that the market is saturated with it. Very few rifle length gas systems out there anymore. Seems like everything I ever take a notion to get into is obscure and backwards.

I know a guy I'd pay money to see them do this to. He's a loud mouth tuff guy.....bet a hundo he'd cry just like that.

Myth that many people cannot get in their thick heads, Gun beats knife Gun beats hand to hand I think a LOT of people would defocate in the undergarments if they knew how fast a motivated and/or experienced assailant can close a 15 ft distance and perforate a few organs. I used to really support the death penalty, then I got to thinking of all the free labor could be derived from these walking pieces of fecal matter, if we'd just get rid of the hippy scum who defend their rights. Chain them together...no locks, tool steel clasps forge welded together (it's just a burn, it'll heal!) quenched to harden them and put them out in groups cleaning up the whole country. Hobble the runners. Here's a broom, some bags and a mop, start at north Nashville, when you get to the south end well put you in a truck and you can start over. Meals on wheels will stop by every evening to deliver what leftovers the nursing home refused.

Yep, Hipoint. Ugly, cheap.......and they run like a raped ape. AND, even the big boys in the business don't stand behind their product any better than Hipoint. Have an issue with one and find out. They're a great company, too bad they're so dam ugly. ......AND TOUGH! I don't think my Glock would survive what I've seen a Hipoint take. Check out some YouTube videos. When you see a handgun survive bore obstructions and compressed loads of bullseye, they're tough!

I can't believe I'm gonna say this, but.....   Where's Kwik when you actually need him?  Can't think of any other guy ballsy enough to do it.  Can't think of a better douche to take the fall if it goes badly.
