    DUDE!  I have done some of the dumbest crap when pissed.   I limit myself to solitary outbursts of anger nowadays though.  I try to never let anger cloud my judgment when in the presence of others.  I'm still not above beating something apart with a hammer when it refuses to cooperate.  I just don't wanna act like that around people any more.   Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE NOTHING MORE than to [Will Smith] Hancock someone who cuts me off or acts like an ass, but in reality, RARELY are the fruits of confrontation worth the effort and aftermath.

You should totally have the freedom to not wear a helmet or seatbelt for that matter.  Emergency responders should have freedom to say "Mehh, you shoulda wore a helmet." when your brains are oozing out your ear.  The door swings both ways, as it should.  People need to quit trying to make it a one way door.     The typical emergency responder's moral compass would never let him/her sit idle because of someone's lapse of judgment, BUT, ALL lawsuits should be thrown out in toto when you make that choice.  AND, it should cover all the bases.  Didn't wear a seat belt, got ejected out the front of the car and now a quadriplegic?  Don't file for disability, you're on your own for being stupid. Same with a helmet, didn't wear one and now you're a slobbering vegetable?  Nope, no help for you. .....but at least you didn't get a ticket for not wearing it!  LOL!

Don't forget the .30 ARX which is a 6.5 grendel necked up to 30 cal   It has a lot more case capacity over the 300BLK and is awfully close to the [now defunct] .30 RAR

A build I have been contemplating for a couple of years is a .357 Sig.     Lone wolf makes a lower that takes Glock magazines so feeding will be a non issue.  The barrel will be the biggest issue.  Using a 6,8mmSPC bolt and a pistol length gas system will get you a locked breech and the 357 sig should make MORE than enough pressure to cycle reliably.   I think the cartridge would perform very well in a long barrel although NOT to the 400m you want.  It would whoop a hogs butt at a 100 yards though with a 147g XTP or equivalent.       Sourcing a barrel is not impossible.  Just a touch pricey.  THe only other thing is the buffer and spring might take a touch of tinkering....but I doubt it.
