  1. My one regret not having kids is to raise them to the extreme polar opposite of the village mentality. Unlike many of you(who work your ass off everyday) I actually have lots of free time to homeschool a kid, had I have had one. I've often thought about how to do it so drastically different it would shock and horrify the sheeple. I'd like to see more kids taken on as a padawan (yeah, nerdy Star Wars reference) instead of just "here, learn this". Imagine what you could do if you had your kid with you everyday for the first 15 years or so. Me and the wife was talking about it one night over dinner, Lamentations if you will. What would world think of a kid thats been told the unmitigated truth about EVERYTHING and then allowed to draw their own opinions and conclusions. How would the world respond to a kid who has been TRAINED, not schooled or educated. No 'approved' history books, this is what rally happened! Lincoln wasn't a slaver liberator, he was a tyrant who defied our constitution. No Ebonics, learn to read and write PROPERLY! To hell with soccer and volleyball, how about Brazilian jujitsu and Muay Tia kickboxing. How about training a kid from the START to deal with what awaits them. AND, I would be the first to refuse to ram religion down their throat but how about teaching them the finer points of Old Testament Proverbs. Anyone remember reading that Foolishness dwells in the heart of a child but the rod of correction drives it far from him? I understand that I don't have kids so I DONT understand anything about them but the whole kids will be kids, let a kid be a kid is silly crap to me. I never acted like that (much) and never thought like that. Perhaps being robbed at gunpoint and staring down the barrel of a shotgun before I started kindergarten opened my eyes early but the way I see it, you do a kid a disservice by sheltering them. The sooner they understand the sooner they can start developing the skills and tools necessary to deal with the world. The sooner they master those skills, the sooner they become successful. (Ripping off another movie) "I don't want to be a product of my environment, I want my environment to be a product of me." We all look back and play the "If only I had known" game. It's a sad part of being an adult. Not many parents put much effort into correcting that with their offspring. ...and the ones who do fight an uphill battle against the left wing propaganda rammed down their kids throat because of public education, television and social media. Many will never realize that communism won the Cold War with a simple and extremely effective tactic. To defeat and indomitable enemy, you take out the next generation and wait patiently. They did just that. They've infiltrated schools and colleges. They prey on young impressionable minds and now, as we grow old and weak, who's left to carry on OUR way of life? I have young people who trade with me at my business, I talk to them and listen to them. I know many of their families. Many of their families think like I do and truley beleive their kids do as well. They're sadly mistaken.
  2. I ain't pedaling squat. Sorry. Too old, fat and broken. IMHO, Daryl Dixon has set the standard for SHTF bikes with his new ride.
  3. What, no tactical mopeds?
  4. A timing chain wrapped in paracord???       Buddy, you can whoop a fellas ass with that!!!!!!!  Ouch!
  5. Power is a bit subjective.  Which one you can consistently make good hits with.....that's the most powerful one.
  6. Nice!!  Now, engrave that puppy and file the forms so you can get a stock on it!!!
  7. I don't know for fact and for certain, but I'm gonna say yes.

Yeah Harley Davidson pulled that crap years ago. Almost slit their own throat. It's a fair strategy until you piss off your customer base.
  9. Probably not with 2400 but data is a plenty for other powders. If you liked that one, how's about this one? It's a 320(ish) grain. I machined the bottom driving band and lube groove off of a 500g (.458) Lee mold. I size them back to .454 and shoot them in my single shot Handi Rifle. Technically, those are Casull cases, but I have loaded them into Starline Colt cases too.
  10. The Rossi in .45 Colt gets my vote. 45/70 is a bit overkill in the brush. If youre scooting out to 100 or better, then yeah, use it but inside 50-75 yards, the 45 Colt will get it done. Wish you lived closer. You could come by and we'd cast you up some 340g bullets from a custom mold I had cut. Guaranteed to punch a hole in a pig and make him spew like a hot can of beer! The large meplat makes very large blood spigots.
  11. You should have explained to the person that the word "ni$$er"has little to nothing to do with skin color and EVERYTHING to do with mentality and personal conduct.  Then you should have explained to the person that it is against your own personal code of conduct to consort with a 'ni$$er' and politely excused yourself because....well, they'll get the idea.         While i'm on the subject, I've met a lot of people from all walks of life.  Good and bad.  'ni$$ers' come in all colors, orientations and religions and if I were to tell the honest truth about it, I've met more white ones than black ones.  I have several black customers.  All DAMN FINE people.  They have a job, pay their bills, know/raise/love their kids.  The fact that their skin is four shades darker than my pasty azz means precisely SQUAT.  They'd be welcome at my table any day.  One in particular, I've had this very discussion with.  We both laugh because to anyone with half a grain of intelligence, racism is a joke.  As soon as  the country gets this through their cro-magnon brick thick skull, the sooner we can just get back to living.       ammosexual?  Heck yeah!  Whore of Babylon level ammosexual!!!!
  12. It's a Toyota bro.  Buy it if you want it.     Personally, I the AWD thing is an immediate turn off for me, but as far as being mechanically sound???  It's a friggin' Toyota!   AWD is a pain when it comes to tires.  You can't just toss two new ones on the front.  You gotta replace them all.  You're beggin for trouble if you don't.  Tire life is reduced significantly over 2wd or regular 4wd.  Religious tire rotation is a MUST.  I hate them.  ,......then again, I sell tires and they eat them up, so maybe I don't hate them all that much.
  13. Studies mean nothing to me.  I see cars and trucks all day, everyday.   I listen to what my customers complain about and what they are happy about.  Never..not even ONCE have I heard  "This Toyota is a  :poop: !  Wish I had never bought it!"     I hear that a LOT from GM and maybe just a little with Dodge.  Rarely Ford.   All the mechanics that trade with me drive Toyota and Nissan.  One sure fire way to KNOW what is good, watch professional mechanics.  They know what they see and they will buy what they DON'T have to work on.     Toyota's major fault is the price.  They are VERY proud of their stuff new and their trucks demand a premium in the used market.  If they were to cut their sale price and maintain their current level of quality......well, wish in one hand  :poop: in the other.
  14. May the Fourth be with you.
  15. Yes, but the flood of dirt cheap ammo e saw a few years ago has started to dry up. It's not coming back either. Certainly not unavailable, Hornady even loads it BUT, if you're paying full retail price for ammunition, the 5.45 has nothing to offer over the .223............unless of course you just want one. If that's the case, hell yeah! Go for it. Never compromise on what you really want, you'll just be disgusted with it in 6 months and wish you never bought it.
  16. The idea of this caliber was solid when surplus ammo was plentiful and cheap.  It's just about dried up now though.  Unless a soul had enough foresight to put away a tidy nest egg, I do not see a single advantage to this.
  17.     I swear to god I was just thinking "Wonder who'll be the first to start THAT crap."         I do wonder, why'd you get rid of the FJ?  I won't be parted with mine.  THere may be a better/tougher 4x4 SUV out there.....but not by much.  Hino built these things like tanks!
  18. Yep, I see your Chevy/Ford/Dodge in a service bay as I drive by.
  19. Dave, where do you get that nonsense from? Tundra's and Taco's are made in Texas. Camry's are made in Kentucky. They're as much American as anything "domestic". Ford, dodge and Chevy outsource parts for their junk as much as anyone.
  20. Hellboy just called....he wants his gun back.
  21. If you live in an apartment, an AR with Frangible ammo.  Any standard ammo is a fools choice, reckless and inconsiderate.  Stay away from slugs too.
  22. yep, flipping up the grenade sight shuts off the gas.
  23. Top three are Toyota, Toyota & Toyota. A little more money now but with good maintenance it will be there. A customer of mine has an older 2wd with the 22R 4cyl. Last time we talked he had around 480K on it. A few clutches, a water pump, belts and hoses and such...but other than that, just oil changes.
  24. Once again, it was many moons ago, but I've been all in the cave under one of the falls. There were large pools inside the cave. Very deep and dark. Of course I dove right in. I remember a large boulder under one falling stream of water. Bravery overriding good sense, I climbed it and stood under the falling water. It knocked me off balance and I fell off. Busted my ass pretty good. Knees and elbows bloody. The laughter hurt worse.
