    Snakes

I know snakes have a very important role to play and I would NOT wanna deal with the rat and mice problem were all snakes to vanish.......but the only good snake is a dead snake. I may not be "scared" of them but I hate the dam things. One good thing about snakes, they actively avoid humans, noise and high traffic areas. I'm with snakes like I am most other things in life I hate, stay away from me and I'll stay away from you. Peace through defined boundaries.
  10. A barrel nut. Try no muzzle brake at all. All the gasses will go forward and not be redirected.
  11. Welcome to freedom!
  12. Nice. The BP cylinder ain't for me but I can dig that .45 Colt!
  13. Red333 not only reloads for 25acp but he casts for it too!
  14. .45 acp is THE easiest auto loader cartridge too load for. You gotta do something dumb to get it wrong.
  15. Many years ago when I first got into casting I took a Lee handpress, sized/lubed bullets, pre-measured powder charges and a pack of primers to the range with me.  I loaded one single piece of R-P .45 Auto brass 12 times.     .....I wasn't watching what I was doing and lost the brass on ejection.  It would have made it several more times.  It had only stretched about 15 thousandths.       Moral of the story? You'll probably lose the brass before it gives problems.  The 45 ACP is such a gentle giant.  As far as pressures go, its a pussycat.
  16. :squint:  :squint:  :squint:   Wouldn't YOU like to know.   :squint:  :squint:  :squint:

  18. Stupidity should be painful....ohh wait, it is!
  19.     That would depend on how much gear reduction it has.  If not geared properly, you're right, it'd be hell on earth to pedal.   :P
  20.         Iron sights are EMP proof.
  21. That's why I like Muay Thia. Give him (1) five minute round full of unchecked inside leg kicks and his calf would look like rare prime rib. Bell rings and he won't get back up off the stool.
  22. JMB's true brainchild and his finest design, far exceeding his other work. Very nice!
  23. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=215hfhJSstA Here's a cool engine assisted bicycle. Not your daddy's moped!
  24.     Yes, yes and YES.  AND, obviously ANY boxer could whoop my butt, but a pro boxer [only] couldn't stand toe to toe with an equally experienced MMA fighter.  After watching MMA for years, boxing is boring.   I've argued this with people before, and it's true, if it was fist against fist, a boxer would have a decided advantage because it's all they study but what can boxer do after he gets taken to the mat, gets mounted and has elbows raining down on his head?  He can bleed a good bit before the ref stops the fight.
  25. Unless it's a raised burr that would interfere with function, scratches only matter to safe queens, collectibles and other assorted useless items. If you actually USE it, it'll aqcuire several scratches over time.
